I used this product to install a new back yard water hydrant. I made a connection to existing synthetic water pipe in the crawl space and used shark bite connectors and crimp rings. I purchased the crimper on Amazon too. Then trenched out to the location of the new water hydrant. I used 2 inch PVC pipe as a protective sheath over the Shark Bite pipe and refilled the 24 inch deep trench with native soil after a leak test. No issues or leaks. Doggies liked it too!

Got exactly what I needed at a good price

Quality, as expected. Some have mentioned difficulty with handling uncoiling of tubing as it is stiff. I would not try to uncoil this, say, in an attic space. What I did was to take it into my back yard and start the uncoiling and process by pulling sections across my legs and pressing against the curved part of the tubing, about 2 foot section at a time and bending it against itself -- pull, get the curved portion against my upper leg, press down, pull another 2 feet and repeat. I managed to uncoil and straighten out about 100 feet. Not perfectly straight but enough to pull up into my attic space without having to deal with the uncoiling of the tubing like some kind of big spring. This method is straight forward, not special tricks or devices need. Some of the devices I saw on the internet would take more time to build than it took me to unwind and straighten. I had two 100 foot coils straightened enough to handle and pull in less than an hour, maybe half hour if you are in a hurry. No, not perfectly straight, but long and straight enough for one man to pull through tight spaces. If you want perfect straight, then you have to buy the tubing in straight sections, like you buy copper tubing.

Great pipe for pluming easy to work with. As a note to people who have not used PEX (like myself) do not take it out of the shrink wrap it comes in. Simply find the end and let it uncoil out of the wrap. It will make running tubing so much easier. I learned the hard way.
