Picked up the Aokeo pop filter for my microphone, and it does the job nicely. Flexible gooseneck lets you position it exactly where you need, and it really reduces those annoying “p” and “b” pops when recording vocals. Perfect for YouTube videos, streaming, or podcasting. Only minor gripe is the clamp isn’t super large, so make sure your mic stand fits it. Otherwise, simple, effective, and a must-have for cleaner recordings.

The official Elgato Wave:3 filter feels very expensive for what it is - being five times the price of the Aokeo at the time of reviewing, while offering similar performance. Fit and finish are better than I expected for the money. It attaches neatly and securely to my Wave:3 and looks much cleaner than those big gooseneck arm filters that clutter the desk. In test recordings, it’s been effective at taming plosives and softening breath noise. The universal mount is a bonus: if I ever switch microphones, I won’t need to buy another filter. Materials aren’t as premium as Elgato’s own, but once it’s on the mic you don’t really notice - what matters is that it works and stays put. Would definitely recommend for Wave:3 owners who don't fancy paying the premium for the official pop filter, but still want effective filtering.

I used this on my Wave 3 for a while. It didn’t completely cover the mic top to bottom, but it did the job. It obviously helped with voice quality with reducing harsh sounds. The elastic fit is quite tight, however it can wobble a little. But for the price it does what it needs to do.

I bought this pop filter for my desk microphone as it is neat and unobtrusive on my desktop . It works brilliantly to conceal pops and plosives on my voice when Zoom calling, gaming or recording. I also use it when location recording, as it is neat and portable. It is easy to install, fits most mics and has a 3 layer filter. It also comes with 2 spare elastic bands. Considering its price point it is great value and carries a 12 month warranty.

The Aokeo B-8 Pop Filter purchased. This item fitted perfect on my Veetop USB Microphone. The sound output resulted with a sharper quality and clearer. Definitely recommended!

I would recommend it for my type of use - not for Figure of 8 obviously as you'd need two Having had a pro studio in the past for many years this does a perfect job thus far and saves a larger filter. It promises much, but this shield has a host of issues - it really impacts on the sound quality from my Aston Origin mic, and it’s not that effective at quelling rogue plosives. Quickly discarded and back to a traditional alternative from Sontronics.

I bought based on a review for elgato wave 3 microphone that recommended it over the elgato filter given the price difference - it seems very tight and doesn't fully cover the actual mic area so it's pressed against it, I just hope it won't damage it but it seems like it will do the job?

Perfecto para evitar los soplidos, sonidos al tragar saliva y, sobre todo, las explosiones con las letras b y p. En mi caso lo coloqué sobre una espuma que ya tenía en el micrófono y que era insuficiente para evitar el mencionado problema, para ello retiré las gomas que trae y quedó perfectamente encajado. Buen material y buen funcionamiento.

Effectively eliminates popping due to plosives. Light, low-profile, and easy to install. At first, I thought the elastic mounting bands were kind of janky, butt they mount cleanly and allow the screen to be bumped without breaking or overly stressing hard mounting interfaces. Much smaller and better than traditional round nylon screens.
