This was the best purchase. I use it for studying and my husband uses his for learning Japanese. Very functional and I like the idea of saving paper by using dry erase. If something is important you can flip the clear page protector back over it and it keeps it from smearing well.

I've been using this notebook for a month. I love that I can keep it on my desk at work, flip it shut when a customer walks in, and put it in my bag when I drive from one office to another. With multiple pages, I can keep my notes and phone messages organized. I also like that I'm not relying on scrap paper or sticky notes to jot down comments / tasks (and then, inevitably, forget that note at the wrong location!). I've found that it can be hard to erase if the writing is on the page for 2+ weeks, but the EASIEST solution is to write the same words over top of the existing words, and then erase it. (Works for almost all whiteboard products!) I really like the reusable feature of this.

I work in a vet office and have to take small notes during/after phone calls and often threw the sticky notes or note pages away after I was done with them. If you do that after answering every phone call for 10 hours you end up wasting a lot of paper. Using this really helped because I just erase the note after taking care of it and keep on writing. It's front and back so I can have lots of notes going at once and not a huge stack of sticky notes that might be lost. I've been using it for a few weeks and have yet to have a note be accidentally erased or smudged. It was little expensive for just having 4-5 pages but I'm glad I bought it as it makes my day a little easier and I don't waste a huge amount of paper anymore.

I would actually give this product 4.5 stars if I could. Overall it's great--I primarily use it for shopping lists, keeping track of game scores, to-do lists, anything that I need to keep for a brief time but then never need to see again. It's saved quite a bit of paper that I otherwise would have used for these purposes. Just a couple of little things that are more to-be-aware-of notes than real product flaws: the pen dries out pretty quickly if it's not capped, like 10 seconds or so of not actively writing with it. Fortunately it rebounds after it's been recapped so it's not dried out forever. Also, the eraser on the pen works OK in a pinch (I can rub out my shopping list as I work my way through the store), but to really clean the board you have to use a cloth. Not a big deal, but worth noting. I've also noticed, now that I've had this for a few months, that some of the pages I can no longer clean completely--probably some scratches on the surface that the ink is settling into.

I bought this for my math class because I didn't want to have a bunch of scratch paper around the house from my math class and it works great for taking notes and for using as scratch paper for class. I would definitely recommend this to anyone needing to take a note down or class notes or for whatever.

I 💯 couldn't possibly describe to recommend buying this ENOUGH! It's so fun! & just like buying the "Rocket Book"( which I also recommend BUT the rocket book is a lot more expensive in this one is an easier and cheaper way of doing all of that both are really fun but when it comes to whiteboards I seriously love love whiteboards and this I had no idea was a thing so when I just randomly came across it I was so so excited!!! & bought it on the spot!!!) Anyay, with this, you can ALSO scan & send to; not only your e-mail, notes, OneDrive & much more... which I don't know if you can do all of that with this those are just what you can send with the rocket book scanning with using their app it's just more expensive to buy the rocket book that app is free.. but the app from what I understand from this whiteboard notebook is also free!😄 (& just so you're aware, u can also scan to save your own notes as well thru their app with it.. with setting up once you've purchased it, you can get this app the Whiteboard!(: That, tbqh, I just found out through the reviews) - the app is called(for the whiteboard, is called: the "geniusscan+ app" I'm SURE you'll love it as much as I do!😆

Paper coating used to achieve the dry-erase effect is similar to the coating used in the mini wipebook series of notebooks. Dry erase 'pages' are thick paper cardstock coated with the dry erase material. Between each of the cardstock is a transparency film. There are 4 cardstock pages and 5 transparency pages. The binding is designed in such a way that it is easy to remove, re-insert, and reorganize the order of the pages. The pen that comes with this product is bulky but does actually provide a much finer line than I thought it would. In order to get this product to work to my satisfaction I had to spend quite a bit of time doing some modifications. I wouldn't purchase this again. I have two letter sized dry erase notebooks (one at home, one at work) I've been using for years made by letterforms.org. Unfortunately letterforms is no longer making and selling them, and when they were they never got around to releasing a smaller version. The pages used by letterforms appear to be coated (or made up entirely) with an opaque polypropylene (PP) material that prevents pen impressions from being left behind, easily erases after day/weeks/months, isn't easily water damaged, it works with both dry and wet erase pens (Staedtler). letterforms seems to have made the perfect dry erase notebook, only if I could have gotten it in smaller form. A couple years ago, I tried the mini wipebook notepad with very disappointing results. Dry erase pens would leave impressions in the writing surface, the pages would not easily dry erase after 24 hrs, certain dry erase markers would ghost, it required water and vigorous scrubbing to rid the surface of previous marks, and eventually the entire notebook was destroyed after water that was required to clean it got into the paper backed pages. After finding that nu board seems to be using the same dry-erase material as wipebook and it was behaving just as terribly, I knew I wouldn't be able to use this nu board notebook as purchased. I found that writing on a surface covered in shipping tape had behavior similar to my letterforms notebooks, so I spent an hour or two covering both sides of the cardstock, and one side of the transparency pages with shipping tape. On the other side of the transparency page I covered it with using some Duck brand dry erase tape I had laying around so that transparency sheets were no longer transparent and I could write on both sides. The thick cardstock pages were annoying because they couldn't be flipped with a swipe of the finger so I took those all out except for one on the front and the back to act as supports for the inside pages.

I mentor people for a living and go from room to room. Being able to get my thoughts across and with such a lightweight tool and not have to dispose of waste paper is really handy. This was a big hit at work as others kept asking me where to get it.
