Works great

I used one of these types of devices years ago to train my dogs not to bark in the house. Worked like a dream. Now I have a new puppy and need it again, but the model I had before is no longer available (gave the old one away to another dog owner who needed it). So I bought this one. It does absolutely nothing. Dogs do not notice it on any setting. They don't even shake their ears. What's really telling is that our cats, who holler at us if we use the electric bug zapper, also do not react to this useless device. Unless you need a crappy flashlight, do not buy this.

Our new neighbor's little corgi would bare teeth at the fence and act like Cujo on the attack. The barking was as if the owners were being slaughtered and the dog was made to watch. If the dog was in the back yard, this is how it acted at all times. My family could not enjoy the back yard AT ALL!!! I was at my wits end and had no clue what to do...then I saw this. I didn't have high expectations for $8, but OMG!!! I purposely put black electrical tape over top of the light on the front, mostly because I didn't want the neighbors to be aware of me using this high frequency device. That turned out to be a wise choice, because I feel as if the dog may have been able to figure out what was making the noise. As it stands, the very first time I ever used it the dog STOPPED immediately and looked aroung bewildered for a few seconds, then went back to his usual gnarly barking. I immediately pressed the button again for just a second and the dog turned around, scared, and ran for the back door porch and sat there QUIETLY! I had to use it for two more separate incidents, each with the exact same result. Since then, we do not have to use this device at all. The corgi is still not friendly, but it does not even so much as peep through the fence at any of us any more!

The first one I bought was great. I had to replace it. The last 2 have just been okay.

My friend said this works great for her big dogs. I have a small dog that loves to bark for no reason. I’ve tried everything. I have 2 anti-barking devices outside & a anti-bark collar around his neck but nothing seems to help. So I ordered this. It didn’t phase him a bit. I don’t think any product will make my dog stop barking so don’t judge this product by my review. My friend swears it’s the best anti-bark device ever!!!

This thing has fixed my broken dog! She is a Mini Schnauzer, and comes from a long line of screamers! Every time the door bell rings, someone knocks at the door, or comes inside, she screams with an ear-splitting pitch and volume. Out rather, screamed. Not after two days of consistent use. Paired with a strong "no," she's transformed into a sedate greeter! Amazing! The Engrish instructions are awful. We were especially nervous to use it at first, as we did not understand the pictograms molded into the side of the device, and the 'instructions'only added uncertainty. After some trepidation, we tried it. There are two switches: on the bottom, a slide switch with 3 positions. On the top, where your thumb rests, is a simple push button. The slide switch positions are, front to back: Just a flashlight. On while you hold the pushbutton. Ultrasound with light solid on while you hold the pushbutton. Ultrasound with strobing flashlight while you hold the pushbutton. We have been using the middle position to great effect.

The instructions should probably not be written with Google Translate but it's fairly simple to figure out. We have an avid barker. Visitors arrive? Bark. Visitors leave? Bark. Squirrel wanders by the window? Bark. Door opens? Closes? Bark. Leaves move in the wrong direction? Bark. Walk by too fast? Bark. Accidentally tap the window while watching the neighbors. Bark. He is also 8 pounds of ferocious food aggression when the kids drop something from the table. Anyway, it works! Well, it works for our little dog. And for the neighbor's dog that tries to use our grassy spot by the door as his own bathroom. Didn't work as well for the grandparent's "big dog" but I think that she was just too dopey to notice. Would buy again. UPDATE Works so well that I only need to hold it in my hand within eye sight of our little barker and silence is instantaneous.

La verdad es que con mis perros no funciona bien.

Works on strays, did NOT work on home pets and trained dogs, same thing with stray cats, worked on them but not home cats... so, 50/50 in my case. Was great help to get rid of strays around the parking lot when we were abroad this summer in eastern Europe.

Cannot depend on it to protect yourself if a street dog rushes towards you to bite . Found to be ineffective in case of some of the dogs. May be you can only use it to train your 0wn dog. Overpriced for the utility it provides.

Also das ist der absolute Wahnsinn das Gerät. Habe 2 Hunde die mit Vorliebe alles anklaffen was bei 3 nicht auf dem Baum ist. Seid Tag eins mit dem Gerät, machen meine Hunde kein Theater mehr wenn wir fremden Hunden begegnen 😍😍👍Auch wenn es an der Türe klopft oder Klingelt ist es auf Kommando abzustellen. Kann es nur empfehlen, meine beide Hunde reagieren super darauf und musste es nur paar mal einsetzen. Mittlerweile zeige ich es nur falls die Hunde nicht so reagieren wie ich es möchte und sie bleiben sofort viel ruhiger als sonst. Tolles Gerät und endlich keine Kläffer mehr. Top
