THE BOMB! (in a GOOD way)
I heard this absolutely wonderful music playing in a Las Vegas Store years ago when I was clothes shopping and was catching my self after a while dancing around the store to it...lol Finally I went up to the clerk and said "PLEASE tell me you sell whatever it is you are playing" and she said "World Groove, oh yes we do" and walked me over to it. It is mellow, yet very funky music from all over the world! France, Japan, Israel, India you name it. Every time I play it for someone new in my car they are like OMG I LOVE THIS!! So if you like different, funky, vibe, cool music and can appreciate other styles and types I highly recommend giving this a try! ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! And I now can sing in other languages from playing it so much!! Well sort of! =) lol

This is THE BEST Putomayo CD
I give this CD as gifts all the time. Everyone loves it. It's a great CD for parties. It's upbeat. The songs are catchy. The music is great for dancing and I exercise to it too. Whenever I play it, people MUST know what CD it is. This CD is a jewel in the rough. I'm surprised more people don't know about it. I have never known anyone who didn't love it and want it for themselves.

Pretty Good Groove
This is a pretty decent album. I like about half of the selections, which is not a bad thing, in my opinion. I don't think anybody likes everything on an album. All the songs were very well done. This is unusual music, but there is probably something for everybody. Some of the songs really make me want to get up and dance. My sister has the album too. She says the same thing, but she likes the last half of the album while I like the first half.

Energizing, interesting collection of dance music from around the world. Sometimes music from unfamiliar cultures can be annoying, but these songs are engaging.

Meinen letzten Urlaub hab ich in einer Villa auf Lombok verbracht. In der Villa gab eine Stereoanlage. Ich schaltete sie ein und zufällig war diese CD gerade eingelegt. Die CD hat mich von der ersten Sekunde an begeistert. Jeder einzelne Song auf der CD ist absolut genial. Man kann gar nicht anders als in irgend einer Art und Weise mitzuwippen oder gar zum Tanzen anzufangen. Die Songs sind von verschiedenen Interpreten, aus verschiedenen Ländern und haben unterschiedliche Stile. Die Gemeinsamkeit: sie gehen ins Ohr und lassen einem nicht mehr los - man muss diese CD einfach immer und immer wieder hören. Absolute Kaufempfehlung!
