Canvas Red China Star Shoulder Bag

objectively attractive guy with a skateboard and dressed in a really well-styled grandpa sweater stopped me on the street to ask me where i bought it from then made me airdrop him the link. it was super awkward cuz i was struggling to find it and he just kinda looked back and forth between me and his phone for like 2 minutes but i think the fact that he made the choice to stop me is a pretty good sign. i’m writing this review a few years after i actually bought it. i got this like 4 years ago and wore it until it fell apart a year ago, which in this case meant the strap just wore away and tore eventually. i think if you were really committed to it you could’ve fixed that tho. it will be rough on your shoulders if you carry heavy stuff a lot, but that wasn’t me so i didn’t have the problem much. material is kinda thin? i carried a lot of book and over the years the corners of books being stuffed in dug into the bottom corners of the bag and whittled them down a bit, so the corners were thinner by the time i stopped using it. it’s not “soft” it’s canvas. has a slightly rough texture like all canvas. maybe a little softer than the least rough sandpaper you can buy. pockets are super helpful and spacious, the whole bag is pretty spacious. pockets can also close with buttons.

Awesome bag! I really like how there is a set of "pen holders" in the front. It's totally adorable, perfect size (large enough to fit a 15" book inside); the handle can be adjusted multiple ways, including latches on the sides and back, and makes use of extra cushioning so that the bag doesn't feel as heavy and is more comfortable to carry. Great material - I have the utmost confidence in this bag lasting for years to come.

i ordered this bag after reading some reviews and received it within several days. this bag is everything i was hoping it'd be. it is large enough to fit most of my books and miscellaneous items, and the material feels durable. it also works well with patches if thats your thing. it is slowly becoming my bag-of-all-bags, working its way to complete fusion on my body. my only con would be that the shoulder strap needs some tinkering to hang lower, but that is a small burden in comparison to the pro's of the bag. i'm happy that, after hunting down messenger bags from a variety of places, i settled with this one...

I bought this bag as a replacement after my daughter's bag from another well-known retailer (initials PB) tore and could not be repaired. We both love it. It fits her gigantic binder and then some, it is really thick thick canvas, it has a number of other pockets and it has a comfy strap. It is kind of pre-worn out and it has a cool red star logo. (Yes, we know whose logo it is, but geez, a star is a star). This bag has it all, it serves its purpose admirably and is off the charts in terms of coolness. Love it!!!

This bag has a nice styling and seems to be pretty durable. My biggest problem with this bag is the internal dividers in the main compartment. They are not sewn up on the bottom and that allows items to slide around in the bottom of the bag. I also don't think this bag has enough pockets on the inside for all the items I would like to carry.

I've had this bag for a year and a half now. These are some of my thoughts: Durability: So far, it's been pretty durable. I haven't seen any holes or tears in my bag. With that in mind though, I haven't brought it through thick and thin. I've only used it to transport stuff from one house to another, I don't really walk it around town or anything like that. Still, I probably use it three times a week, and I still haven't had any problems with it. Comfort: Not the most comfortable bag to have on your shoulder, especially when full. The shoulder strap provides minimal support, and while it will hold the bag up, your shoulder will ache if you try to carry this around. Also, the thin material makes it hurt as it bumps against your side. Price: It's a decent price for a bag that gets the job done. 20 bucks is a decent price for bag I've used for over a year and a half. Storage: If you really stuff this thing, you can fit a lot in it, and you can still close it up, if you try. For a size estimate, I have used this thing to carry a 15 inch laptop, two days' worth of clothes (excluding the pants I was wearing), and the power cord stuff I used for the laptop. More recently, I've used it just to carry a laptop, cords, and basic first aid supplies. The front pouch is decent. You can carry up to 8 pens/pencils, and there's enough room in the pouch itself to fit a square sandwich, as an example of space allotted. Content safety: This is the killer. If you bump anything, you'll probably get nervous about the contents. This bag does not have any padding. Not even underneath. If you plan on carrying something fragile, you might wince the second you clip a wooden table or chair. My laptop is pretty durable, but make sure yours is too. You might want to be careful when setting this thing down. Total stars: I give it four stars. It isn't by any means the greatest bag at all. But it is pretty good for the cheap price. I think if anything, it is more for show. Because let's face it, when you're buying this, you want it because it looks pretty cool. That's why I got it, anyway.

This came exactly as described. My daughter loves it. she can carry a lot of items in this bag. It has two fabric dividers in the middle which can keep larger things organized. Love the smaller pocket attached to the inside as well. Super fast shipping
