Puts the perfect crimp on waterproof connectors without breaking the plastic. The ratcheting mechanism allows you to hold a terminal in the crimper and insert the wire with the other hand making it easier for tight installations.

The only thing about this Crimper that was a let down was that it didn't always give a full crimp. One in ten crimps would be weak enough that when I tugged on the connector to make sure it was tight, I would pull the connector off. Still, one in ten is impressive considering this is the only Crimper that doesn't cause every bone in my hand to crack when squeezing it. It works very well and doesn't take near the strength as the other non-ratchet crimpers. I used this tool when I re-wired my 37 ford and 31' Striper dashes and was pleased enough with the results that I shared what I think.

I was very surprised that I would like these as much as I did. These things work perfectly- crimps look amazing, and the actual crimping process is much easier than the normal hand crimps. I am a pretty small person and lack a good bit of grip strength- so these make it much easier to get reliable crimps that won't fall out. TL;DR: worth the money short term. The ratcheting mechanism seems to be a lesser quality steel- so will probably end up not wanting to ratchet/lock a few years down the road. Could always cut larger hills with a dremel though.

Overall quality of these crimpers is good they should be very durable used on a wide variety of cramps quality is good crimp capacity is good overall look is good should be very useful . Should have adjustment capacity adequate for use

Great tool that does exactly what it says it will do and at a very competitive price. Well made, easy to use and made making up cables easy and fast.
