Brabantia Large Dish Drying Draining Rack (Dark Gray) Plastic Easy-Clean Drip Tray & Removable Cutlery Basket

Looks great on the kitchen counter. The draining feature works very well. Easy to clean and easy to keep it looking good. Most of my stuff goes in the dishwasher, but this is great for large items, pots, bowls, and tupperwares etc. Works best if someone dries up as you go along, but that being said, it can hold a lot of stuff. Plates fit fine. My only complaint is that the cutlery holder is not very stable, especially when tall or heavy items are placed in it. I spent a long time deliberating whether to get this product because i felt that it is expensive. After using it for a couple months, it is clear that this was a wise purchase. The quality is great, and it’s brought back some joy to the chore of washing and drying dishes.

I stopped using a dish drainer about 5 years ago because they take so much counter space, and they get gross with water goo stuck under. But then we had hand wash things and water bottles spread out on the counter on towels. I looked at target Amazon and some kitchen stores for a small rack and even looked at baby bottle racks. I was iffy on this one but was so delighted when it arrived!!! It’s small and looks great!! The rack is sturdy metal with strong joints and this nice square tube shape. It’s much heftier than the stainless steel one we used to have that would occasionally tip over. It’s big enough for a handful of cups, bottles, lids and the hand wash knives. It wouldn’t be big enough for pots or pans so we’ll continue to hand dry those or stick them on a towel.

Love the low profile and lighter gray color (it is perfect!) that blends into my counter top. The sleek rack looks good and works great for several culinary items I don't put in my dishwasher. It is strong enough to keep an oversized baking tray perfectly upright. When I empty the rack I can either leave it on the counter or store it (dried) under the sink easily. Believe me, I looked high and low for this drain board and am very happy with it!

There is a lot to like about the design. But I feel there is room for improvement, in a couple of areas. Item 1. It is very helpful that the "well" for cups and glasses has a rim around it. But if the well was not quite so deep, it would be easier to place coffee cups so there handles were arranged pointing out. In one picture I put something in the well area that raises the bottom surface, to show what I mean. Item 2. My plates don't quite fit. They have raised rims. If the plate holder section was a little wider, they could easily drop in vertically. See picture of another rack product, holding my plates. Item 3. The utensil holder is great, good dividers, sits securely in the the rack.

I wanted to replace my old dish drying rack with a low profile, modern and sleek looking one. This one fit the bill but I nearly didn't buy it because of the price tag and the reviews stating that large plates don't stay upright. I decided to try it anyway because I tend to wash plates in the dishwasher and because I couldn't find another rack that like more than this one. I'm so glad I did! It makes my countertop look so much better and what it lacks in height, it makes up for in area, which is larger than most dish drying racks and holds a lot of dishes. It's really easy to clean and looks even better in person than I imagined.

I like the overall size and functionality of this dish rack. My dishes fit fine and do not tip over; they are a round design and a larger sturdy set. Key factor to me is that it drains properly. I do not have water on my countertop or under the rack. I have a smaller kitchen with no dishwasher so it looks fine to leave out on my counter.

Long term review: Bought this about ten months ago. The build quality is good and it has held up, but it leaves a lot of water stains on it and washing it with dish-washing soap doesn't help. Attached photo is right after I washed it.

The Barbantia dish rack has a sleek look and low profile design which is important if you are considering sight lines. It is well made, and looks great on my countertop! Plenty of room for cleaning dishes and also fruits & vegetables. Very happy with my purchase, and highly recommend!

Avevo necessità di trovare uno scolapiatti bello ma anche funzionale da posizionare in un anfratto tra il lavello ed il muro della cucina. E' da molto tempo che cercavo qualcosa che mi soddisfasse sia nei negozi di casalinghi, sia sul web, ma nulla fino ad ora mi convinceva proprio del tutto. Alcuni prodotti erano apparentemente funzionali, ma di fatto erano dei "plasticoni", pertanto se volevo mantenere un minimo di eleganza in cucina, finivano per diventare dei veri "pugni nell'occhio". Quelli che avevo invece individuato come più eleganti, soffrivano invece di alcune carenze tecniche, come ad esempio vaschette raccogli gocce poco pratiche da pulire, oppure altre componenti che presentavano difficoltà nello smontaggio per pulirle dal calcare depositato dopo settimane di sgocciolamenti vari. Altro problema che avevo era lo spazio utile, perchè nel mio caso (purtroppo), dal filo del muro all'inizio del lavello avevo a disposizione solo 25 cm. e la maggior parte degli scolapiatti in commercio o sbordava (rendendoli quindi inutilizzabili per le mie dimensioni disponibili), o erano troppo piccoli e anche "Fragili". Stufo di non trovare una soluzione definitiva, mi sono messo come "ultima spiaggia" a cercare approfonditamente qui su Amazon per vedere se trovavo qualcosa di utile e ho scoperto questo prodotto della "Brabantia". Sempre nel mio caso ho optato per il modello color grigio chiaro perchè avendo il lavello ed il "Top" della cucina chiari, era quello che si addiceva meglio, ma anche il grigio scuro avrebbe sicuramente avuto un bell'effetto di contrasto. La confezione (Vedi Foto), comprende (all'interno della scatola ben protetta dal pacco di Amazon): - Scolpiatti in alluminio verniciato, - Vaschetta raccogli acqua, - Porta posate. Lo scolapiatti è disponibile in due dimensioni (e due colori come sopra accennato): Modello compatto: Lungh. 46,3 cm. - Largh. 20 cm. e Altezza (compreso scola posate) 12,5 cm. Modello ampio: Lungh. 49,2 cm. - Largh. 38,6cm. e Altezza (compreso scola posate) 14,2 cm. Il modello compatto è studiato per tenere in piedi 5 piatti ed essendo in due in casa va più che bene, anche perchè le sponde che reggono i piatti sono belle larghe, quindi si possono inserire comodamente anche 2 piatti in ogni inserto, permettendo comunque un facile sgocciolamento. Lo spazio rimanente è dedicato da un lato all'alloggiamento dello scola-posate e dall'altro per i bicchieri e tazzine. La griglia dello scolapiatti appoggia sulla vaschetta in plastica tramite 4 ampi piedini in gomma. Tecnicamente lo trovo studiato davvero molto bene perchè oltre ad esser davvero molto solido, è anche pratico da pulire. Le 3 parti con cui è composto si smontano con estrema facilità. Il miglior feedback che ho ricevuto, è stato quello di un'amica di famiglia che qualche sera fa era a cena da noi e lo ha notato subito, chiedendomi dove l'avessi acquistato :-) Ho fatto alcune foto per aiutarvi a capire meglio ciò che vi arriva qualora decideste di valutarne l'acquisto. Spedizione da parte di Amazon, perfetta nei tempi dichiarati! CONCLUSIONI: Per il rapporto qualità/prezzo, soldi davvero ben spesi, prodotto super Consigliato! Well worth the premium paid, the quality of the steel and dish rack is way above what other e-commerce sellers could offer. Brabantia spells quality.

Love this, fits perfectly beside the sink. Water from dishes drips straight into the sink. Good quality, sturdy.
