On September 25th 2014, shortly after the release of their "World On Fire" album, Slash with Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators took the stage at the legendary Roxy Theatre on Sunset Strip in West Hollywood. The atmospheric venue, steeped in rock history, gave fans a brilliant opportunity to see the band up close as they delivered a set packed with more recent solo tracks, including several from the new album, and classics from Slash's earlier career with Guns `n' Roses and Velvet Revolver.

Not the best representation of Slash, Myles, and the gang.
First off, I am a lifelong GNR fan and lover of all things Slash. I also thoroughly enjoy this band. However, this performance does not capture Slash, Myles, and company at their best. As a group, the songs feel very rushed and aren't as tight as some other live performances captured. Yes, the band sounds cohesive, but the tempo of the concert is as if they're trying to blaze through the show. The buzz kill of the album is the fidelity. The guitars sound like they're being played through shoebox amplifiers with tiny speakers. The sound is incredibly thin. This might be due to the small venue size. Overall, I was hoping this album would sound like the performances given at the O2 Academy or at PinkPop, but am very disappointed.

If you love Slash or hard rock you’ll want this album!
If you’re a fan of Slash or Myles Kennedy, this is yet another great addition to your album collection. I give it a four only because the band seemed a little off that night and some of their set pieces suffer for it: played entirely off beat or tempo, Myles butchering a couple of lines, etc., but does not represent the greatness that is this group or as a live band.

Great band.Slash has put together one of the best bands ever.Myles has got to be the bedt vocalist and Todd Kearns is a great musician not to mention he has a great voice and also harmonizes great with Myles.Brent Fitz is a great drummer just go see him live. Frank Sidoris does a grest job on the rythm guitar and when he and Slash do double leads they sound grest. As far as Slash goes not only is he a fantastic guitar player but he writes great songs.Check out the songs he had written since Appetite.I think if Slash and Myles met up in the 80's they would be in one of the biggest bands ever..

Too Hot to Handle!!!
AN AMAZING RECORD! This live record will truly rock your socks off. Put this LP on a turn table and watch the room turn into a groupie lounge from Guns N Roses hay day. This bad boy comes with 3 LP's that will melt your face off each time you listen. You'll be calling your local plastic surgeon each time you rock out to this record. Consider yourself warned!!!

Amazing Live Slash Album
Amazing live album from Slash and his band. The guys are in top form throughout the performance. Nice career retrospective, as the set includes songs from almost every period of Slash's career, including a good selection of the newer material. Even casual fans will enjoy this one.

Great rock n roll that is mixed well
Great rock n roll that is mixed well. I wish I could have gone to this show but all 3 of Slash's club shows in LA sold out quickly. I'm not a huge fan of live albums but really enjoyed this one. 5 stars

Slash rocks
As usual, Slash puts on a great show. The quality is excellent and the set list rocks. There is only one song that is a clunker, the rest are excellent. Highly recommended if you are a Slash fan.

Slash rocks the Roxy
Slash always seems to be having a lot of fun lately when he is on tour with Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators, it seems being free of the shackles of playing in a big band has finally let the famous guitarist have some fun. Recorded shortly after the release of his third solo album ”World On Fire” Slash went back to his roots by playing the famous Roxy.Slash has found the perfect foil in Myles Kennedy who comes without the baggage that most front men bring. The CD has 19 songs with a mix of solo material and songs from both Guns N’ Roses and Velvet Revolver. It really is a performance of old fashioned rock and roll. Bassist Todd Kerns sings on two of the tracks “Doctor Alibi” & “You’re Crazy”. Highlights include “You’re A Lie”, “World On Fire” and “Slither”.Not everything works as “You Could Be Mine” misses the mark and at 17 minutes “Rocket Queen” is really too long and is the type of jam that no doubt Axl Rose would be happy with so he could pop off stage for a while. Overall a good live album that I would recommend if you already have “Made In Stoke” if not get that first.

Why the need for boring solos?
A brilliant concert but sadly they still insist on the boring 10 minute guitar solo and for me personally it's boring and I don't care who the guitar player is. If you like guitar solos then add the extra star as the rest is excellent.
