Are 45 degree blades appropriate for cutting Vinyl iron ons?

I haven't cut vinyl yet so not sure. they work just like the cricut blades do on other things. .

the diagram shows that you may have to adjust the depth by twisting the housing. With the maker, the housing is one piece. How do you adjust it?

On the maker I believe there is a knob that you turn to change your materials. There are notches or clicks between each material. Each click towards the next material deepens the cut. You will here the terms for example vinyl 2. When it is on vinyl it is vinyl 1, one more click is vinyl 2.

Works gor cricut maker 3?

Yes it does. And also with Cricut Expressions machine, which is an older model.
