I read the review of other users at amazon before purchasing but dint pay a heed, as I was highly motivated to buy it being decieved by the power of the product. Not to my surprise the pen never worked for me, upon contactting the support folks I was asked to do some preliminary testing and they confirmed that the pen was faulty and they would do an RMA. But I will have to send the product back to their office in Belgium for the replacement at my cost. And upon enquirying the rates for shipping the product back to Belgium (from India) I realized what a big mistake I did (~ 60USD). It is really bad that I have to pay this extra money for the companys fault in manufacturing non working products and spend invaluable time followingup with the customer support, who have stopped replying back since last two days. What a misery!!!

I was supplied the windows software, but needed mac software. I downloaded from the mac version from the web. It works well when one uses it to take notes. But when I try to write and project at the same time, I encountered a problem. The area in which I can write is very limited. If I went out of that area, then the writing will not be projected.

After reading several negative reviews I bought it anyway on the recommendation of a friend. It works very well, does just what I expected: allows the storage of written notes on my computer. The recognition software works fine for normal writing but, as is to be expected, cannot handle mathematics. Sketches, doodles and scribbles are all faithfully recorded. If you shut it off in the middle of a page it will restart on a new page.When you change pages you only need to push a button, but of course you have to transfer the reading head. Another user told me that he had some inital trouble but that it worked fine when he installed new batteries. In my case the original batteries seem ok.There is a feature that allows placing the reading head at the corners or middle of the top of the page but this does not work on vista or windows 7 but you have to go to the web page to learn it does not work in 7. This is not really a problem though. I have had no trouble with page coverage but am using US paper (smaller than A4).I had to work to find where windows was storing it's files but once I found it I put the directory in a library for easy access from outside the software.All in all I am quite pleased with it and would recommend it.

Let me start off by saying I have absolutely horrible handwriting and was skeptical that this product was going to be able to understand it. I was pleasantly surprised when I upload my first batch of notes to see it translated them into text with only one minor error due to the unique way I write the letter "s". I was able to export my notes as text right to Word and edit them as if I sat there and typed them.The case that comes with the pen is quite nice and the product does not feel flimsy. I emailed their technical support to inquire more about the mouse mode and received a prompt reply in under an hour with a detailed response. I also learned that the pen can be used as a tablet input and I look forward to trying that mode out as well.This is the only note take I have found that does not require special ink or paper and I highly recommend this to anyone who takes a lot of notes! Kudos!

I should've gone with the majority reviews but thought I'd give it a go as people are generally negative. Just as per complaints I read in the previews, the clip broke on the second time of usage, NONE of the 3 refills worked....all were dry!! This meant I was unable to get it going. Am NOT going to throw more money away by trying to get refills that work. My advice - STAY CLEAR and DO NOT take a chance in buying one!!!!

The quality of the pen wasn't that good. Once i opened the CAP in order to install the batteries, the screw where the CAP goes, got broken.The clip of the scanner Also got broken once i try to clip it to the note book.

I was really scared after ordering the pen and reading all the feedback and was planning on canceling the order before it was shipped. Amazon was too fast and it was too late for me to cancel.I had 2 requirements:1. No specialty paper2. Can convert to digital (PDF)Pros:It works as described. Will take your handwriting and convert into digital pages.Its fast and have not run into issues where it gets stuck. Upload is very fast. I like the software. Charges quickly. Its light weight and does not look too geeky.Cons:Default background for page sis yellow, you have to manually change it to white if you want to. I have stopped caring and it works well. When converting to Word, each element comes as a text box which I dont like. I really dont care about that so much.Overall it is a good pen that can be used on any type of paper. And I love it. I would have given it 5 stars if it had a few more customization options.
