Whitmor Commercial Rolling Laundry Butler with Wire Storage Rack

I was looking for a good rolling cart to hold laundry supplies, and also needed a way to hang up clothes while doing the laundry, because I don't have an actual laundry room anymore, just a closet for the washer/dryer. I can't tell you how happy I am that chose this cart. There is plenty of room in the basket to hold all my supplies, a good sized hanging bar, and even a shelf underneath. I just tuck it into the corner of the office and wheel it in and out at need. It is sturdy, rolls easily, and I can see getting years of use out of it. The price was very reasonable, in my opinion. No wonder the reviews were better than a lot of more expensive ones I looked at. Also, most of the others sounded like a nightmare to put together, speaking of which... Regarding Assembly: I'd like to give this cart a BONUS STAR for assembly. The instructions are sketchy, mostly pictures, but sufficient because the cart was really easy to put together. All I needed was a Philips screwdriver and it seriously only took about 10 minutes, no exaggeration. Honestly it was a cake-walk compared to some "easy assembly" stuff I've has the displeasure of putting together. I was all ready for an arduous process on this one but *boom* a few minutes and I was done. I was thrilled, I tell you. I did have a little help from someone holding bars steady while I put in screws, which might have made it slightly easier, but I could have done it completely alone just fine. P.S. I am not a big, burly, handy-man saying it was easy, I'm a reasonably handy woman saying it was easy.

Very sturdy and simple to put together. Here are the measurements of my hamper. Width of the opening (the inside of the ring from one side to the other)- 21 3/4 inches Width of the outside of the ring from one side to the other- 23 3/4 inches Total height (with wheels)- 32 1/2 inches Height from the floor to the bottom of the lower ring (with wheels)- 6 inches Hopefully the picture I posted is able to give you a better idea of the size. It's definitely the largest one that I have ever owned. The garbage can in the picture is a 32 gallon Rubbermaid with wheels (it's a little taller than a 32 gallon can without wheels), the hamper is a lot wider than the garbage can and could easily hold much more. The box in the picture is the box that the hamper came in. I followed the directions and I tightened everything up after I put it all together and haven't had anything come loose. The wheels glide nicely and the liner is very durable, my kids have tightly packed 6-7 extra large loads in it and the seams held up wonderfully. I am just happy to have finally found a hamper that is wide enough to catch all of the clothes that fall from my laundry chute and large enough to hold several large loads. Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase!

I love everything about this cart! It's easy to put together. At first I started at the top which was so easy. Then I thought no, I need to start at the bottom. I left the top 3 pieces together and started at the bottom and worked my way up. Although I did put the nice sturdy wheels and the bumpers on last so it wouldn't get away from me. There are no word instructions, but a very detailed picture. It says it'll take 20 minutes. Well it took me a bit longer, well a lot longer. I'm a 65 year old woman with a bad back and that's why I bought it. There is no more lifting heavy clothes baskets, carrying them from one room to the opposite side of the house then bending down to pick out the clothes, put them in the washer, get more clothes, back and forth, back and forth. I use the basket as a hamper and roll it to the other end of the house and just reach in and get the clothes out as it sits 16" from the ground to the bottom of the basket. It's a real blessing! I put hangers across the top bar and there are knobs on each end so they won't fall off. Under the basket is a wire shelf. If I have a lot of towels, I'll put them there, or sheets will go there. It wheels so easy in any direction and two of the wheels have locks. You can put the locking wheels on any corner. It's a great laundry basket. Other ones with wheels are so expensive compared to this one that offers so much.

Omg!!! I have wanted one of these at home forever. Let’s face it most of us don’t really need this inside since convenience in laundry facilities inside the home and apartment is pretty common. I have a 5 line clothes line I pull from our rear garage to the back of the house over a Concreate area it’s perfect and gets tons of sun so I saw this and bought it without hesitation. I loved folding in the laundromat back in the 80s lol when we did it every two weeks everything we owned. It’s so easy to roll to and from and you can fold straight from dryer and or hang stuff up. Well I do this at the clothes line. It keeps my wet clothes clean from washer and then I take and fold clothing sheets and towels from line. My king size sheets I cannot ever fold well by myself but wit a clothesline it literally already is in half over the line and I fold in thirds and slide off to then fold over twice and it’s done. Oh and can I tell you how wonderful fresh sunshine smells along with the unstoppable love of Downey. It’s my summertime favorite thing. Except the old big oak dining table and 8 different wood chairs I have placed under our old growth maple tree in our large yard. I love eating dinner outside around 8:30-9pm in the warm summer nights of Oregon. Play cards or hang out and just talk. I highly recommend it to all it help leave behind the stress we’re all feeling by watching any news at all. If you want an easy way to haul stuff to a clothesline this is it and it’s very sturdy and well made.

Talk about being very sturdy but easy to glide across the carpet and hardwood floor. This laundry been is very professional grade but small enough for a family to use. It can hold ALOT of clothes. Our fabric or rattan laundry baskets have not held up to the way my family/kids throw their clothes in the basket, and this product is seriously strong. It is very aesthetically pleasing too. I bought 3 of them. This one was the only one that was brand new. The other 2 I purchased as Used- very good and I am disappointed because one box was missing a screw and the other box is missing a nut. Now I have to call Amazon to see what they want me to do. Do I go and buy the missing piece from some hardware store? Or do they have the seller send me the missing parts? I don't want to return them necessarily. But I am disappointed people have the nerve to return things to Amazon and it is missing parts but they still get resold.

Sturdy. Easy to assemble. Good capacity—easily 2 loads of laundry. Rolls well.

I replaced some old tall plastic hampers with these and it is just awesome to me how much they will hold. I can wheel them over to the bed to fold clothes if I feel like it without having to ask my husband to carry around "the mountain" of laundry we have every week. Pretty essential item for our family of 6 people +pets. I was able to put it together myself in just a few minutes, too. Its true that these are household grade hampers and not commercial. They will not survive an apocalyptic event or hold a hotel's worth of clothes. But compared to what ridiculously flimsy cheap nonsense I could find at bed bath and beyond for similar prices it is enormous and built like a tank. Just a tip- those generic small square plastic clean laundry baskets will fit right on top of the lip of these things so I can store my baskets nested on/in them or fold from one directly into the other and it works out pretty conveniently. My only complaint is just how tall they are- you cannot find a table for them to go under. It will have to be custom. The measurements given on amazon didn't line up with my baskets somehow so the table I bought just to go over these baskets didn't work. I had to prop up the legs of the table with random stuff. It would be nice if they were a little shorter and wider or squared or something. Just a minor practical design sort of thing though overall they are great for the price and do exactly what I need them to do. They appear to be built to last for the next several years. I think I will get a ton of use out of them.

Excelentes acabados. Es más grande que los cestos de ropa tradicionales. La lona es gruesa. Las llantas son extremadamente resistentes ya que tienen cuerpo metálico y rosca. Las ruedas son silenciosas y aguantan caminos empedrados. Muy sencillo de armar. La esteuctura metálica, soporta bastante peso. Es maravilloso...!

I like the convenience of not having to carry the laundry basket. Also convenience of hanging clothes right. Better and sturdier than other model.

Dieser Wäschesammler steht bei uns unter dem Wäscheschacht im Waschraum zum Auffangen. Damit kehrt Ordnung ein und die Wäsche liegt nicht mehr auf dem Boden herum. Der Sammler ist sehr robust und lässt sich gut hin und her rollen. Steht und rollt stabil.

Good large tub. Decent build. Chrome seems a little light on for a commercial product, but steel is covered by a decent bag.

Excelente carrito. Las piezas son robustas, en algunas uniones sugiero usar rondanas (no vienen incluidas) y con eso queda perfecto.
