Tomato Paste Jar – 24 oz (680g) (1)

I had been searching for this product--real (double concentrated, as it seems) tomato paste--for years because the one that comes in the little tin cans really lacks in that tomato power. I should have tried Amazon sooner!The taste is great, and it's easy to scoop out a spoon or two at a time for recipes. I assume it would keep a long time (refrigerated). I use at least once daily while cooking for my family, so it's gone in a couple weeks--still fresh. This is definitely worth the price it costs.Bonus: It comes in a glass jar, which you can clean well and reuse for whatever you want: pasta, beans, seeds, nuts, homemade sauces...

This is probably the best tomato paste I've ever bought. It is full flavored, richly tomato, no off flavors and no tartness. It is sweet with some acidity that cooks out (as it should). It actually tastes good enough to be used as catsup (in moderation - it really is full of flavor).I also appreciate that it comes in a capped bottle. In the US tomato paste usually comes in a can. If you don't use it all you have to transfer it. Here you just cap it and put it in the refrigerator.

The jar had popped upon and leaked inside the package unsafe to use this way therefore unusable

Packaged well. Is a large jar w/ wide opening, so is easy access for spoon. Is a DEEP red color-concentrated-with great flavor. Would be hard to use anything else after this.

It is good but has a light flavour, I would prefer a stronger flavour..

This isn’t something you’ll find in your local grocery store. Authentic taste and it will add that extra something to what you cook. Not loaded with chemicals, sugar, or salt.
