This has become my go-to backpack for business travel. The design feels premium — from the quality of the material to the thoughtful layout of the compartments. It easily fits my laptop, power bank, charger, and a few other essentials without feeling bulky. What I really appreciate is how organized everything stays. There’s a dedicated space for each item, making airport security checks and meetings so much smoother. Looking for new bag for work to carry my laptop and other items to and from the office as well a bag to travel with. I wanted something stylish, leather, not bulky and would hold my work and/or personal laptops. I was concerned that my work and personal laptops would not fit due thier size. There is a larger size back pack to this one however it looked big and bulky. My work laptop is 15" and my personal is 16". Happy to report that my work laptop fits perfectly in the back laptop pocket with plenty of room. My personal laptop fits perfectly in the middle compartment. (see picture) Backpack is stylish, has a slim profile, well made, lots of pockets, room for battery pack and notebooks and other office items. I really like that the straps are wider, padded and adjustable.

First off, I don't write reviews often. So for me to jump on here means I like this backpack. As a young corporate professional, I was looking for a modern high end backpack that can give me the look I was going for while still providing the storage I need. I'm typically very frugal with my spending but was willing to invest in, what looked like a backpack that checked all my boxes. Modern look, light brown, quality leather, slim, comfort, and can protect my laptop while traveling. I took a chance on this bag and I was so happy I did. I'm traveling more now for work and the bag pairs well with both business casual clothing and suits. I'm also a guy that likes to carry my gear. A hefty 100w power bank, a 14.4 inch Microsoft Surface Studio or 13 inch MacBook pro, a bag of power cables, and other miscellaneous items. Although it can be a bit tight on space, it has a great layout of pockets and compartments for everything you will need. And this bag, together with a great sized carry-on, that strap on the back of the bag makes traveling enjoyable. No more having to carry a heavy bag on my back just to get to the plane. All in all, great back and I highly recommend it. Hope this helps someone!

I just got this Samsonite Classic Leather Slim Backpack a few days ago and I’ve been using it as my daily work bag since. First impression right out of the box was the smell and feel of the leather. It’s soft to the touch but has some structure to it so it doesn’t feel flimsy. The finish is matte, not overly shiny, which makes it look classy without screaming “look at me.” The stitching all around looks clean, zippers move smooth, and nothing about it feels cheap. It’s definitely slim and doesn’t puff out like a bulky school backpack. Size and laptop fit The bag is advertised for a 14 inch laptop, and I can confirm that’s exactly the sweet spot. My 14” laptop fits snug in the padded compartment. I don’t think a bigger laptop like a 15.6 would go in there comfortably. There’s also a slip pocket inside the main compartment that I used for a tablet and a notebook. That’s about as much as you can fit before it starts feeling tight. This isn’t meant to carry your whole office around, it’s more like “just the essentials.” Organization and pockets The main compartment opens up wider than I expected, which is nice because you don’t have to fight the bag to get stuff in and out. Inside you get a mesh zipper pocket where I put my charger and mouse, and another slip pocket that works for smaller flat items. The front pocket has the organizer panel built in, with slots for pens, cards, and a couple of small items like keys or earbuds. There’s also a quick access zipper pocket on the very front that’s handy for things you grab constantly like a phone charger or AirPods. What you don’t get is a ton of space or stretch. There’s no side bottle pocket which is honestly the biggest downside for me. I can slide a slim water bottle inside the main compartment but it does eat up room. If you’re the type that carries lunch, gym shoes, and random extras, this won’t be enough space. But if your daily loadout is laptop, charger, notebook, and a couple accessories, it works well. Comfort and carry The straps are padded well and the back panel has mesh padding so it’s surprisingly comfortable, even with leather construction. I wore it for a full day running errands and it didn’t feel heavy or dig into my shoulders. The slim design actually helps because the weight stays close to your back. It also has the pass-through sleeve so you can slide it over a luggage handle which is a big plus if you travel. Haven’t used it on a trip yet but I tried it out on my suitcase and it feels stable. Style and look This is where the bag shines. It looks like a professional’s bag, something you’d take to the office, meetings, or even as a carry-on when traveling. It doesn’t scream “backpack” in the casual sense, more like a slim leather briefcase that just happens to have shoulder straps. I’ve already gotten a compliment on it after carrying it for just two days, which says a lot. Durability so far It’s only been a few days but the leather has already brushed off some light marks easily. I wouldn’t take it out in heavy rain but for normal use it feels like it will hold up well. The zippers are smooth and feel sturdy when pulling, which is usually a weak spot on bags. Samsonite generally makes stuff that lasts so I’m optimistic this will hold up over time. It looks sharp, feels premium, and is comfortable enough for daily use. After a few days of carrying it I’m happy with it overall. I’d give it 4 out of 5 stars, mainly because of the missing bottle pocket and limited space, but if you want something slim and stylish that makes a good impression, this is a great pick.

I love this backpack. It looks professional and it’s comfortable to carry. It has SO many little pockets hidden inside of each of the larger pockets, which is extremely helpful for organizing all my things from pens and chargers to chapstick, tissues, gum, and everything else. I can have a designated place for everything I use each day, which is my ideal. I’m about to fly with the backpack for the first time so I’m excited to test out the luggage strap as well. The only downside is the lack of a side pocket for a water bottle, but there’s plenty of room inside for it.

Size & fit: For reference, I’m 6'6", and the backpack works well for my frame. It’s not tiny, but it has a compact, slim profile, which is exactly what I wanted for something that looks appropriate in an office setting while still carrying everything I need. Style: This bag is very versatile. I’ve worn it with jeans and business casual outfits, and it also looks perfectly appropriate when I’m wearing a suit. The design feels fairly unisex, so I think it would work well for anyone. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase. Well I’d been looking desperately for a backpack for my laptop and notes etc. I wanted leather and preferably Samsonite. I couldn’t believe it when I came across this. It’s a beautiful brown, so perfect for all seasons and very smart and professional, which is what I wanted. It’s compact but roomy enough so it fits everything I need. It’s light too. Straps are comfortable and strong. Compared to other leather backpacks out there it’s excellent value for £. V happy with purchase.

I've been looking for a leather backpack for a long time. This is an amazing find, managed to snag it when the price dipped a bit. Pictured with my favourite Targus ecosmart bag mainly for size comparison. Samsonite is slightly less tall and wide. What I like: - Look - Elegant, all function. - Material - real top grain leather, zippers are smooth, overall well stitched. - Size - comfortable to carry with my 13 inch laptop in it. 3 full height compartments with many inner small compartments. what I dislike: - Look: shape slightly too "angular".. have to pack lighter or ignore the bulky feel and look when the backpack is full. But the size of the backpack seems just right for the style. Any bigger would be even heavier and bulkier. Overall I love it and consider it a great buy.
