Required some modification for my purposes. I measured manually prior and cut hole to closest size. A problem I ran into was it seemed like the nut stripped and wouldn't tighten the outlet. Installed through rear steel tractor fairing. So had to add a machinet washer and cut a fibro gasket washer to get it to actually tighten. Ring terminals were too big for the tractor battery, so replaced those. Was long enough to get the job done with extra. Obviously, it was for custom application which I already knew, planned, and accounted for. One of the biggest features was this outlet actually having thicker gage wiring rated to higher amps a long with the outlet. The incorporated blade fuse is a good feature as well, especially with exposure to water and such. I will have to see how it works out in the winter and next summer. The caps snaps on, but idk how water tight that cap is actually going to be. Let alone with water exposure with something plugged in. Time will tell. At this point, seems quality, works, has nice design features, fair price point, and thus I am happy with the purchase.

These seem to be good quality female cigarette adapters. I say, “seem” because when the (user-supplied) male part of the adapter is inserted they appear a little loose. I’ve pulled the mating male part out a little and the electrical connection was not broken, but it seems like there’s a little too much play. Time will tell, I guess.

I needed to add a light bar to my Bobcat CT2040 tractor for snow plowing. The light bar I bought had the 12vt cigarette lighter end that I needed to change between the 20 different flash patterns. I really wanted that ability and the easiest way for me to have this option was to install this socket. I really like it because its made to be on a boat, marine rated. It has a very nice rubber plug when not in use to keep dirt, snow and water out of the socket. I like the fact that the socket is made with a very thick and heavy duty plastic so it doesn't rust up like the metal ones have done to me before. The 10' wire is heavy duty and very flexible so running wires over, through and under the tractor was easy to do. I highly recommend for any of your 12 volt socket needs!!

Got a sprayer trailer for the 4 wheeler but didn't have power to run it. Quickly installed this, works like a charm, and looks like it was factory installed.
