Glad I bought these on a whim that I may need them sometime in the future, helped a lot when removing connectors on my car harness when rebuilding. Had a key for every kind of terminal holder, if not exact fit then there was one that worked perfectly for it

Before I ordered these I spent significant amounts of time trying to remove pins from connectors. It sucks. These made that ridiculously easy. Important things to note: * Almost everything is made from stamped metal that has been dip coated. * Along with that, all of the two pronged tools in this kit have the long edge in line with the connector. I found that I had to use two of the single tools to remove pins from one of the connectors. * The circular pin removal ones are just different sized ferrules with a handle attached. They didn't even remove the plastic piece from the ferrules. * The little chains they come on are garbage. I had the connector pop off within half an hour spilling them everywhere. * It's a stamped piece of metal, so when that happened, one of them bent. tl;dr: They're cheap because they're simple, but they work. Unless you're doing this all day every day they're worth it. Even for a single connector, buy these or something else!

The metal is pretty flimsy and will likely bend easily and if bent will probably break even more easily. But there are many keys that will do most jobs so many could get broken and a person still would be able to complete tasks this set was made for. A lot of keys in this kit. Yes, it is unlikely anyone will find an application that one of these keys doesn't work on. There were so many keys though that more then half of them would do the job I needed and I was totally unsure which one to select and use. I got the job done so I got my money's worth in that first use.

As a "Do it Your Self" or a Pro Auto Tech, this is the kind of stuff you should always have in stock at your tool box or garage, you will remember me when you will need it... have it or not...

Not a very good quality a break after a few uses I only needed one size and I got the job done pretty much a disposable tool

I have had and used these for 4 years and 2 months now. They are cheap and a wide variety of connectors. I have used them for weatherpak, metripack, deutch, and as of last night I did my first Bosch locking connector. I am now looking at buying higher quality ones now but, for 10$ I have saved companies a lot of money and have made myself plenty or money in quality professional repairs. Could they be stronger? yes. Could they be less prone to bending? Yes. I worked on tractor trailers and now for a utility fleet. Was nice and cheap to get me started on learning about rebuilding connectors.

Effective and convenient. Enables a wide variety of pinning tasks. I quickly and easily re-pinned new ignition coil connectors and other wiring harnesses.

I'm well aware of getting what I pay for, but there don't seem to be any middle ground with pin extractors. It's either $30 for a single use extractor or $10 for a set of cheap keys. Well, when you have a bunch of no-name-brand connectors you have no way to know what extractors will work so you get the cheap set to at least find out. These keys looked great. A couple were bent but no big deal. Some had burrs, I can take those out. I started right away with the ultimate test: waterproof connectors. For those who don't know, you need one key to remove the inner shell, then another to push through the seals around the pin from the back side to remove the shell. After that's removed you need another key to finally remove the pins. These things worked wonderfully for the actual task at hand. I wasn't afraid of them bending or anything like other reviewers claimed. I have no doubt they'll work for the many other automotive connectors I work with spanning decade upon decade. So, why one star? Because I can not, in good conscience, recommend a product that cuts you when being used properly. At least two of the pin extractors (so far) have an edge on the ring that sliced right through the plastic and then through my thumbs. I cut my right thumb with one key, then used another key to eventually cut my left thumb on that. Fool me once, sham on you. Fool me twice, that's what I get for being ambidextrous.

Tools were fairly easy to break but so are most terminal tools as they need to be very small. The do work & it is value for money.
