The Secret Box by Magic Makers - Amazing Magic Trick

It's not quite what I expected from the posted video, but after receiving now it's pretty obvious as to how the effect works (funny how getting your hands on it and the instructions will do that eh?). Overall simple yet fun effect. I've been slowly adding to my bag of tricks that my wife makes me perform at events to keep from doing the same stuff over and over. This is laughably easy to perform and only requires a minor sleight, which I'm not even sure if I'd call it a sleight. When I had my store I bet I would have sold a lot of these as most kids around 6 or 7 years old could perform this with just a bit of practice. It's not a kids only trick as I intend to work it into my act as well. I can already tell I plan to add a coin vanish and have it magically pop inside the canister type of patter, then when they check it's gone, then back, then gone again and they can examine the container... then have it appear somewhere random (even better if you can sneak a matching coin into their purse or similar when they aren't looking. Seller also sent a few extra perks along with it which was much appreciated. For the price this is silly not to buy whether it be for a youngin, older newbie who just likes magic and doesn't know how to do any, all the way up to someone who has been doing magic for ages.

The most clever and simple magic trick ever!! It's effect is totally unbelievable but still so simple it's as close to real magic as you can get. Definitely a great trick that anyone can do with zero practice. Well worth the price.

The box is brilliant. Even though it is extremely simple, it is smart. The problem is that the glass panel was dirty when I got it. Thankfully, it had TWO panels. The other one is fine. Overall, it's a great toy.

It's okay. I get the whole premise of the trick, but it takes a bit to learn the slight of hand to pull it off without making it obvious what's going on to the observers. Kids like it, but have a difficult time doing it because it requires a little bit of practice in the slight of hand to conceal the magic behind the trick. It's cool, but just a little beyond basic if you do the trick exactly as described.

This item is fantastic. You can use this to make a coin, ring, marble, pebble or any other hard object (that can fit inside) Vanish. Imagine taking a quarter with the participants initials written with a marker on it, place it into the box, put the lid on, shake it and with a magical gesture..... you open the box and reveal it has vanished....only to reappear somewhere else. The instructions may be a little dry and not very creative which puts the focus on the box and turns it into a puzzle to be solved. However, with a little creativity and a little sleight of hand, you can create something impossible, magical and take the focus off of the secret box.

pretty dumb trick, before I get to any of the actual trick everyone including children guess exactly what the gimmick is the first time I open it after they guess what is in it. Its a fun little thing to show kids or something but otherwise not at all worth the money, pretty lame
