SHIWEI Gymnastics Training Bar- Height Adjustable 3' to 5' Horizontal Kip Bar for Kids

 This bar is perfect for learning the basics. My daughter loves it. She really wanted a bar for her bday. And we found this. It’s very sturdy and a 10x4 mat is perfect under it. Super easy to put together and move if needed. My daughter is 7 yrs old and about 60 lbs and it only moves a little when she is really going, but doesn’t tilt at all.

Absolutely love this bar! My 12 year old daughter is on a gymnastics team and wanted some bars to train at home. She spends HOURS on this bar! She can easily lower and raise the bar to the level she wants. We put a mat underneath for safety but they are very solid. I highly recommend.

 Nothing negative to say, and I recommend the product and re-seller to anyone with an aspiring gymnast at home. Easy setup and hours of use logged by our children. Took maybe 20 minutes with the "help" of our 6 year old, and the rest is history. It gets used everyday by a couple kids, and sometimes by me...This is as described, and is helping develop new skills while reinforcing the foundation learned at the gym. Also the seller has fantastic after-sale follow-up to ensure there is no problem with installation or any concerns. Now to find a proper folding mat to use.**edit**Added a video of our daughter practicing her routine. I’m impressed how stable the bar is even with her swing around it. It doesn’t move, which helps her safe while bettering her skills.

I teach gymnastics in a church community life center. We are unable to store and use full size gymnastics equipment. I needed a bar that my oldest gymnasts could use for back hip circles and underswings that wouldn’t rock and has a larger diameter than the typical preschool bar. I wanted the Tumbl-Trak Kip bar, but that was too pricey for our budget. This bar fit the bill well! While there is some movement with my biggest swingers, it mostly stays very steady. I am able to quickly attach and remove the pieces that connect the legs together for easy storage. The place where the bar inserts into the metal poles isn’t a great fit. There is a slight gap at the top and bottom. Sorry, I don’t have a picture and the bar is at the church where I teach. I worry about fingers getting pinched, but so far this hasn’t been a problem. My only real complaint is the height adjustment knobs. This bar doesn’t use the typical knobs that allow you to pull the pin, raise or lower the bar until the pin springs into the hole, then tighten. Instead, I have to take the knob out, slide the bar to where I want and look in to line up the hole, then screw the knob back in. This wastes precious time in classes. If you don’t need to do quick adjustments often, then it’s a great bar for the cost. As one who has taught all levels of gymnastics over the past 25 years, I wouldn’t recommend any swinging skills for larger students, even though the weight limit is quite high. My nine year old student with a strong cast can make this bar rock when doing her back hip circle. Use your discretion based on gymnast’s height, weight, power, and body awareness & control, but I would say this bar is great for learning casts, front and back hip circles, underswing dismounts, stride circles, cast squat on, pullovers, glide swings, and kips. Little gymnasts can start learning tap swings and sole circles.

Love the product and the customer service is 5 star! Purchased this bar for my babies 5th birthday. Received it and put it together quickly with minimal effort. The threading on one of the screws was off so I could not screw in Bolt B to the front height adjustment but she was still able to play on it until they were able to fix it. Contacted TJ by email and they responded immediately offering to send a rethreader and a free swing attachment for my problems. Received them today and within minutes it was up and running. Couldn’t be happier with this product. Sturdy and the customer service shown was phenomenal. Thank you!!!

Bar is solid, construction is good. Fits great with the 4' x 10' tumbling mats we had already purchased.The design and fabrication are good. Holes all line up well, uses hole and slot pairs to ensure alignment so assembly is easy.I am very pleased with the overall quality, solid build, good hardware/fasteners, and paint is uniform and looks great. It's holding up great through the first month of use.

I have a gymnastics enthusiast, age eight, I bought this bar for her so that she can practice at home. This bar seems in very good quality and I have no complain on it till now, so far so good !My daughter is about 60 lbs. No rocking and completely stable with her on it. I would no worry about the safety. You can adjust height easily with two knobs and the locking mechanism is solid and heavy duty. The fiberless ( not wooden) bar on top is such stable and feels so good. Love it !

I ordered this for my 5-year-old granddaughter, who likes to climb and hang from things, as well as her 8-year-old brother. Neither takes gymnastics, but they enjoy playing on this bar. I ordered a mat for them for safety as well. It is very sturdy and easy to assemble. I can see where this wold be great for kids who are taking gymnastic lessons, and it is fun for the grandkids just to play and practice on their own. I would probably also suggest gripping gloves or chalk, just to keep hands from slipping off the bars.Positives: sturdy, well made, easy assemble, fun, good exercise
