If the torch is left on it draws current right down to less than 1 Volt. Why is this a problem? Unlike other types of rechargeable cell, Lithium cells, like the 18650 supplied in this torch, will be permanently damaged if they are discharged below 2.75V. I did check the cell itself and it does not have any over-discharge protection. Not only will the cell be trashed and need to be replaced, but it can be dangerous. Don't take my word for it, google "is an over discharged lithium cell dangerous?"Another, less serious, issue is that the light output diminishes as the cell discharges. A quality LED torch has a circuit to increase the current as the voltage on the cell decreases, maintaining a uniform brightness until the cell is exhausted.Finally, the USB cover kept falling out, which is annoying and will likely prevent the cover from doing what it is supposed to do: protect the USB socket from dirt and water.Not at all happy with this torch and have returned for refund.

I drive cab, and find it very hard sometimes to spot the right house number to pick up passengers from their address. Since having this essential torch, my life has been made easy. I had my doubt before purchase as to weather this would be bright enough to use from dometimes 20 to 40 metres away, but since having this and using this my doubts have been erased. The fact that i can zomm in/out to make illumination radius bigger/smaller is also a ery nice idea, because i dont want to be shining the light on the whole house, rather want to just be getting a little spot on the hkuse where the door number sign is and this torch does that perfectly. Would really recommend as the light is bright enough and the quality is very well. The torch looks and feels noce as it's good material and isnt a lighweight product. It's a USB rechargable torch, thus doesn't require me to keep changing batteries.100% happy with my purchase.

his amazing high performance, ultra-bright flashlight produces light that is much brighter than regular flashlights. For the size of the device, I was surprised at the brilliance of the white light that emits from it. Even from a distance it brightly illuminates everything in its path and literally turns dark into daylight. The soft rubber button takes just one push of a finger to easily operate and control the mode options—besides the regular light, it includes changeable beam intensity to be able to operate at a much dimmer low light setting, an SOS mode, perfect for roadside emergencies, and a flashing strobe. I really like its compact size, very comfortable to hold and operate. It has a built in magnet on the end cap so its perfect to work hands free especially if working on the engine, and the magnet is very strong so wont drop off. the torch comes with a Micro-USB and included is a 18650 Li-ion Rechargeable Battery which is charged by a Micro USB the Cable and can be charged using using standard charging points. That alone makes this flashlight worth it because of all the batteries you wont have to buy. Overall an excellent buy and would definetely recommend.

My Lenser LED P7 broke (purely from not using it for a while and the batteries seized inside) and at a quarter the price it is as good brightness. Probably not as robust though, but it has survived a fall already! The only downside for me is that the 'focus' beam is a square shape and the housing around the lense is a little sharp. It obviously has its advantages of being rechargeable and the added flood side beam. It has the different modes which are accessed by cycling/pressing through with the switch - when the chosen mode has been on for probably around a minute, pressing the button again will simply turn it off rather than going through the remaining modes until off. I don't think it remembers the last mode i left it on when turning it back on. Remember to remove the end cap and take the sticker off the spring - I bought a second one for a relative and thought it was broken because it would work when charging but not on its own - then remembered to check for the sticker!

I couldn’t first believe the brightness and light this little thing can emit. I was expecting a cheap quality torch with sloppy magnet, low brightness and ever draining battery but this torch simply kept surprising me.Fantastic battery life, charged it just once and still going with my daily but very limited use.The brightness and range is just amazing. Can’t fault the zoomable design.The practicality of this little torch is second to none. The magnet is strong and holds the torch in any angle. The lantern feature combined with the magnetic base makes it perfect companion for dark endeavours.Highly recommended!!

It’s a great little torch for dog walking in the dark with about 6 hours of bright light on a charge however unsure how long it will last as the little rubber plug covering the charging point sits where I hold the torch & with leads, gloves etc. I think it’s likely the cap will break off which on a rainy day would damage the connecting point.UPDATED April - after 3 months of use the rubber plug covering charging point has broken off & lost on a walk so its not watertight anymore. I wouldn't buy this again

Light goes green when fully charged.. remember to remove the insulation on the inside!! Light focuses down to a small square beam.. light is strong for price, metal casing.. but best of all is it's easy on pocket and easy to charge with micro usb on side.. just don't lose the little silicone cap for it. I use it for finding door numbers on houses when on call.

Very expensive for something that only works pluggedin
