desertcart.com: Audtek Electronics 52142H9E 14/2 OFC in Wall Speaker Wire Cable CL2 250 ft. : Electronics Review: Great speaker wire... insulation is tough to strip - I ordered this speaker wire because it was a fraction of the cost you will find elsewhere. It is extrememly high quality and the electrician I had install it for surround sound was surprised to hear what I payed for it. The insulation is very tough and is probably good for shielding. It is, however, VERY difficult to strip to attach it to your components. I highly reccommend this wire. The best way I found to strip it is to carefully pinch the sides with wire stripper/pliers. Be careful not to damage the insulation on the inner wires but once you get it started you can just rip the outer insulation off.
