Wonderful Sheets
I washed and dried these sheets before I put them on the bed. They are thin and dried in less than ten minutes in the dryer. They went on my new mattress easily. They are so soft and comfortable to sleep in. I’m ready to order a second set. The bottom sheet does wrinkle up after a night’s sleep but are easily smoothed out. I would recommend this product.

Real World Review 2 Years Later
Been waiting to write this review because I cannot stand the reviews that are posted where the person simply received the item and took it out of the packaging with no real world use to apply. I've been using these EXTENSIVELY for 1.5 years. My sheet rotation is between two sets. Both of them are Mellani sheet sets. I have washed these sheets probably more than 50 times. Here are my real world pros and cons: Pros: Affordability: At the time I bought them they were $5 cheaper than what they are going for today. Still even at today's price they are incredibly affordable for a set of sheets. Softness: I need soft sheets. These are some of the lightest and softest sheets I've ever slept on. Cool: I feel like these sheets sleep very cool. They do not get hot at all. Cons: Color Differences: The set only comes with two pillow cases. I have six pillows on my bed. So I ordered two more sets of (2) pillow cases. The four additional pillow cases that came were completely different colors than the original set. And it's not as if Mellani sent the wrong color code pillow cases, it just turns out that the "light gray" can vary extremely depending on what factory is shipping them. Mellani was awesome and sent me another set of pillow cases, but they too were different than any of the other "Light Gray" sheets or pillow cases. They explained to me that the color of the fabric varies from factory to factory so they cannot guarantee a color match. And this isn't me being nit picky. The color differences are extreme. There's too much blue in one set, another set is too dark of a gray and another set has a greenish hue to it. So when I'm using six pillow cases they literally have three/four different colors going on. Pilling: After about 1 year or so I started to nice the light gray fitted sheet began to pill. It has gotten pretty bad thereafter. Feels like there's grit/cat litter in the bed. It's weird though. My other set (dark gray) doesn't pill at all. So again it probably comes down to different manufacturers of the sheets. But for the price of a set of sheets, it's okay to buy another set 2 years later. All in all I love these sheets. Highly recommend.

Nice quality sheets for comfort, and easy to wash
The Sheets Were sealed properly. They were the appropriate size for my bed. The quality was better than some others that I have purchased in the past I wanted the basic white because it is just easier for me to throw in the wash with my white towels and add a little bleach and vinegar sometimes. I didn't notice any stray threads hanging, so hopefully these will last a while.

The colors you buy these in seem to effect how soft they are
I've purchased 4 different sets of the Mellanni Bed Sheets (two in different colors in queen size and two of the same color twin-sized). I have also slept on them in the chocolate brown color at my mom's. The reason I think there is some difference in opinion about how soft these sheets are may come down to a couple of reasons... 1. It seems that the white sheets are softer than the colored sheets (as I said earlier I have three sets in the white, and one in beige and I have slept on the darker brown sheets in my mom's guest room.) The white sheets are so soft it makes laying on my bed feel like I'm on a silky smooth but cozy pillow. The beige and brown sheets just seem *slightly* scratchier... not quite as soft. Don't get me wrong, they are still softer than most sheets at this price point and still worth using on a guest bed or another bed that's going to get a lot of use, but my husband and I can definitely tell a difference between the white sheets and the other colors. and 2. I think what you wash them with and the temperature you use matters. I always use vinegar and wash my sheets with environmentally-friendly laundry detergent (like Charlie's). Depending on the types of stains on the sheets (blood, chocolate), I will usually wash them in cold water because cold water lifts those types of stains. Hot water will set them. If I've spot cleaned them first, then I will wash them on warm warm or warm cold. Washing them in hot water seems to effect how soft they are. And I never line dry because I don't have the space for that. So in the dryer they go. They are thin and don't breathe super great, BUT they are very soft to sleep on. And seriously for the price, I don't even hesitate buying white sheets anymore. I actually just replaced the twin set in my guest room because they *mysteriously* got chocolate milk all over them. They’re too affordable and too soft not to just replace when needed.

Not nearly as soft as advertised
I'm a bit disappointed in the reviewers who kept stating how soft these sheets are, even going so far as to say they're as soft as bamboo sheets, such as the ones I used to be able to get at Bed, Bath & Beyond. Nope. They also are not any thicker than those sheets - if anything, they are thinner. So I don't expect they'll last any longer than those would have, had I gotten them. Thankfully I only purchased the twin sheets for our guest bed - I'd wanted to make it feel luxurious (as ours does with our bamboo and 1000ct Egyptian cotton sheets), but at a reasonable price point. You get what you pay for... I should have invested a bit more and bought a brand I know and love already, like Sheex (though that's honestly at the top end of the price spectrum and I can only ever afford them when on sale). But I had hoped, based on reviews and the ads and Amazon and all that's been said about these sheets that they'd at least be as soft and luxury feeling as the others, even if not as thick (hadn't really expected that based on the price point, but had hoped.) So I'm rather disappointed. I will keep them as I washed them already in hopes of that helping to soften them as others have noted it might... it really didn't. But I definitely will not be buying this brand again. Also - I'd ordered an extra set of pillow cases since the twin set comes with only one pillow (as most do, though I still don't understand why as most twin beds still have two pillows on them... and the twin sets are not THAT much cheaper than the next size up). I got the Grey Paisley pattern, which I will say is a very pretty pattern and another reason I kept them. However - their dye lots are not consistent. The extra grey pair of pillowcases I got are a shade lighter than the sheet set itself. I put the pillowcase from the sheet set and the ones from the extra package I bought together, and it's very obvious - one looks much lighter and whiter than the other, which has a darker grey pattern overall to it. Again - both patterns are nice, but I honestly thought for a moment I'd gotten the wrong pattern in the extra pillowcases, the difference in the colors were so much. If you look at the photo I took, the one above is from the sheet set, the one below is from the extra pillowcase I bought - it is the exact same place in the pattern, they should look exactly alike. But above you can see more of the flowers, you can see dark parts and details in the pattern and flowers that you are almost not there they're so light in the lower pattern. The photo doesn't do the difference justice in real life either - it's way more obvious than what that shows when seeing it IRL. So... again, you get what you pay for. At least part of it was paid by points on my card as well. But I just wish I'd used my Discover points on something else I'd truly loved. So for those who are looking for truly soft, silky sheets that feel as good as high count Egyptian cotton or Bamboo, with consistent colors and patterns... just get the real deal. It'll be worth the extra cash.

Emerald green
I got the emerald green and it’s not dark like the picture…more like a light teal colour. Felt nice but the colour just did not fit. Had to send it back.

Very nice, comfortable sheets
After one week, I find the sheets to be very good, Soft, comfortable. I've slept well every night and I'm someone with a lot of sleep problems. Too early to judge durability but for the price these are very good sheets.
