Genuine Joe Heavy Weight Plastic Spoon, Black, 1000 Count

These are made for hotels. A lot of hotels have a machine that you hit the handle and it gives you one fork or spoon. This is what this is made for and therefore it has a shorter handle. It’s still a spoon. The handle is just shorter. It’s very weird and you have to get used to it. But there is no difference other than the handle is short. It’s still a spoon. they are a nice spoon. And they worked very well. For the price you cannot beat it. My family goes through so many spoons a day. And it’s wonderful for that. If you need your fork to have a really nice big handle or your spoon, these are not the products for you. But if you’re looking for a basic plastic fork or spoon, they’re wonderful. They work well they’re not bad to break. But they are not the big heavy weight that you may be thinking. But again for the price that’s not what you’re getting. But if you want a spoon or fork that does its job with just a shorter handle this is the one for you. They are made out of the more Bendy plastic so they do work. But they are not the big stiff spoons and forks that are almost like a regular one. But once again if you want that, then you will be paying about 10 times price. But these products are a nice very disposable spoon and fork. They will work for the one time you use them and then throw them away.

I love these! They have been a life saver! I bought a box of the spoons, knives and forks! Very sturdy, and the quantity for the money and time it lasts is superb! I have a family of 4 and 5 year old twins so plastic utensils are a must for us so we aren’t constantly washing dishes. I bought these In February and I still have a whole box left! This will probably last me at least me at least another 3 months so almost a year! Gone are the days having to refill our utensils every other week. Thank you!

Was not as heavy duty as we expected

These spoons are heavy duty. Believe me, my family puts these spoons to the test. For a plastic spoon, they are durable and do not break easily. I'm glad I discovered these

Didn't feel "heavy weight " to me. Way too flimsy for the retirement party I bought them for.

The handles are rather short compared with most similar spoons. The bowl is very deep, which probably makes it nice for spooning large amounts of sugar into coffee but makes it awkward and unpleasant for soft foods like pudding. They are described as heavy-weight but I would regard them as medium weight. The manufacturing quality seems to be quite good, though the box was rather beaten up when I received it (low grade too-many-times-recycled corrugated cardboard).
