Okay so I bought these to lesson impact as I have hand problems and was playing a DTX kit with rubber toms and snare. They helped but ultimately rubber toms where a no go for me. I upgraded to mesh toms and then you run into the problem that many speak of that mesh heads are too bouncy? NO they are NOT, the problem is that they are slippery which means that your rebound will be off, your sticks can clash etc. These tips STOP that dead! They give way more control on mesh heads, allowing you to USE the rebound, it takes all the work out of it!!! The grip is better than other tips as they are ribbed so they grab, and no they make no difference to the sound, not on E drums how can they? If I take my tips off I can’t play as well, my sticks are all over the place. Hope this helps... yeah my kit more or less plays itself now, I don’t hit I just work the bounce. If you then buy Headhunter grooved sticks with a rubber grip, you get so much control it feels like cheating.

They're ok, not massively effective in quieting drums, and they change the balance of the sticks (which is no biggie, and to be expected). I use these with sponge skin covers on my drums, which works moderately well. For the price, they are a reasonable part of my efforts to reduce the overall noise of my drums.

I have e-drums, I bought these hoping they would make the tapping less noisy. They don’t!i Sounds pretty much the same as not having them on. They fit easily and may help reduce the marking in said drum kit.

I am confused why these are the common style of rubber tips on the market at the moment as I had some old tips that recently got damaged but I was struggling to track down the same ones so I thought I'd give these a try. These new ones are bulky and heavy and completely change how you play due to the extra momentum and added bounce, what I had previously was small and light and didn't have a significant impact on how you play, but you would at least think if they are huge they would have a noise advantage but somehow they don't. Avoid and try find the compact ones if you can.

These are certainly not capable of ‘muting’ your drums. They are ok to protect your drum tips, but that’s about it. I’ve used them on my V-Drums and the difference is minimal.

Great for my digital Aklot set , will last a long long time! Much better overall experience responciveness & sound. Much betterwith them on than off. They add a real feel and don't slow you down, they wil never fall off, held on with supper vacuume suction. Super non rip high quality silicone buying more colors soon
