An A-plus report card!
I have long been searching for a way to get my laptop and mouse off of my kitchen counters and/or tables. While it is convenient to have the laptop close at hand during the day, all that food and drink in such close proximity to it was a bother. I had been eyeing a tiny little nook in my large kitchen, set by a small bay window....just the place for a very tiny little desk. After much searching, this particular desk popped up on Amazon, and immediately reminded me of my school desks as a child. It seemed to be just the size needed, and although I was concerned that it might prove to be too short, I ordered it. It arrived in only two days, well-packaged, and was easy for me to put together and tighten by hand (although it is probably a better choice to have two people involved, to better hang on to the legs while attaching). The legs are adjustable, as shown, so the desktop can be as high as 31"! I didn't measure the shortest height, but it appears to be grade school size at the lowest leg setting. I have it set for 30" height, and even with the storage space beneath, I can sit and type comfortably, as my legs fit below it nicely. There is just enough room for my 17" laptop, mouse and mousepad. I have used the storage space below for two black cardboard shoebox-sized storage containers for assorted desk items. The desk looks great and works with the theme of my home (I am a retired teacher)......what a delightful surprise to find such a nice item for a reasonable price. Thumbs up!

There are two Allen wrenches for a reason
This desk is exactly what I expected and very sturdy. Building it was a total bear, but this was my own fault for not looking closely enough at the directions and the actual parts. Note about the legs, they each have a flat part in the middle at a specific angle. Put flat part to flat part at the proper angle. There are depressions on the bottom that look as if the legs should fit into them. They don’t. Stop trying. Screwing them in with the desk upside down was like wrestling with an octopus. I had a helper but if they move even slightly it falls apart. Honestly I finally had to brace a leg in my cleavage. That worked. My biggest problem was assuming the screws were SCREWS. I only had long screwdrivers which would fit in the desk opening. Way too far into this endeavor I realized that I was given two Allen wrenches for a reason, to use inside and outside the desk. DOH!!! I highly recommend the desk overall, especially if you have a large breasted person who can assemble it and they know to use the wrenches included.

OFFICE EQUIPMENT, DESKS, TYPEWRITER TABLE
Bought this desk to use as a printer table. I needed something small and this works perfectly. There's a little cubby hole beneath the top of the desk. The top of the desk does NOT lift up. It's sturdy, too. The legs are adjustable. It's a keeper.

Great version of a school desk for adults
This is a great version of a school desk for adults! Pros: * Excellent quality * Study table and legs * Adjustable height * Plenty of room for storage inside the desk. * Comes with two tools and instructions needed for setting up the desk. Cons: * The laminate top though on my table has a bubble (not fully glued on). Table tops should be flat which makes it disappointing. * The instructions were not too clear what goes where; took a few to figure it out. Please see my photo which may help you setting up your desk. Will be better to place the legs together with someone else holding the legs in place as it takes two hands to screw the screws in place (one to hold it in place while the other adjusts which is why they included two tools instead of one.) Other than the laminate issue on the table I ordered, it is a good quality table.

Sturdy and cute for my 50# IBM Selectric III
I received my table today, assembled it, and am so happy with it. I bought it for my IBM Selectric III typewriter, which weighs 48 pounds and measures 22” x 15” x 7”. There are a few images with this review that show how well the typewriter fits on the table. I can also keep my manuals, font elements (golf balls), and ribbons in the storage area—score! The video I attached is me shaking the table to demonstrate how solidly it’s built. I’m confident that it won’t tip over and damage the typewriter or injure someone. I also tried to show how my legs fit under the table. I’m 5’6” tall, weigh 225#, and have thick legs. There is a 4” space between the tops of my legs and the bottom of the table, and 3” on each side of my legs. I can lean my legs against the table legs comfortably also. So I feel there would be plenty of room for average-size adult legs to fit under the table. It is on the tallest leg extension in the images and video. It didn’t come with wheels/casters, and there isn’t an easy way to retrofit them. The bottom of the feet have a nylon disc built in, which helps the table move across smooth surfaces. With the heavy typewriter it “chatters” as it moves; we’re not talking Foosball here. But I won’t be moving it far or often. I could research a different material for the bottom (e.g. felt furniture “moving” pads), or knit little “socks” for each leg if I find myself sliding the table around a lot. I gave the table five stars all around. Just make sure you study the way the legs are supposed to attach. I didn’t look at the diagram, and they are not labeled, so I had to disassemble the table and switch the location of the legs (there are only two). If I wasn’t picky I probably wouldn’t have noticed. It also helps to have a friend hold the legs in position as you feed the screws through the pre-drilled holes during assembly; or you can use a pillow to prop them in place. This table is sturdy and it’s was worth the extra time it took to put it together. It will last the rest of my lifetime. The table has a mid-century aesthetic, so it’s perfect for my typewriter. It’s also much more sturdy than the traditional typewriter table I had a long time ago (metal with a drop-leaf on each side). However, there isn’t any room for a copy easel or reference material for my typing. I’ll need to position anything like that on a different surface. I highly recommend this little table for a typewriter, sewing machine, or other type of craft use.

Tuve que devolverlo porque las tuercas no encajaban. El material en si está muy bien y lo compraría pero no me fío que me llegue mal

I’m very pleased with this Flash Furniture student desk. It’s sturdy, well-built, and has a clean, modern look that fits perfectly in my daughter’s study area. The open front metal book box provides extra storage space for her textbooks and notebooks, keeping everything neat and organised. My daughter really enjoys studying at this desk — it gives her plenty of room to spread out her books and focus comfortably. A great purchase for any student’s room or home study corner!
