If your Rogue has a rear power outlet you DO NOT have to run the black wire up to the battery
I used: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075JJQ892?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_dp_5TSHAP3A9683KR022M1A to power the lights. The adapter has 13 ft of wire with a built in fuse, so you don't have to splice in the yellow fuse that comes with the wiring harness. I only needed 6 feet of wire to the power outlet so I cut off the extra 7 feet. Cut off the 3 'O' wire tips. Wire the power adapter directly to the red/white wires of trailer light control module. Store the power adapter by the 4 way flat adapter when not using. Total time start to finish about 30 minutes.

Easy to follow instructions
Plug and play as it says. My rouge had a power outlet in the back panel labeled at 10 amps the kit has a fuse that is 15 amp. While i had the panels open I tried it to see if it would blow the car factory fuse at 10 amps and it did not. I put it all together and tested it several times with out a problem. This saved me the step of running a wire all the way to the battery which I did not want to do anyway. Keep in mind the lights I used are magnetic mount trailer lightss for towing anything I choose to tow so a trailer with lots of lights might blow the factory 10 amp fuse unless of course you use led lights that draw much less power.

Easy install
The kit performs perfectly and the YouTube video of the installation procedure was clear and left nothing to the imagination.

Looks good
I bought this just in case i need to tow a trailer; I looked to find which fit mine and this was 1 of 3 that did. It was given a good review and amazon had the best price so i got it.Anyway, I used the etrailer video for mine and it was pretty straight forward although still took around 3 hours to install.Everything is supplied, cables look really good quality and cables are long enough by the time i got to the battery i had around 18 inches of black wire to cut off. The hardest part of the install is trying to thread the black wire through the chasis of the car.I went to harbor freight and bought a trailer tester for $4 just to make sure my wiring was correct, even though i knew it was .Good quality product, let's see how long it lasts?

Good product but no instructions
Good product. There weren’t any installation instructions included so I had to rely on a YouTube video by a different vender. I don’t recommend running the power cable under the car. I worked it through the inside panels. Worked great. I have a 2016 Nissan Rogue

Works great and better than paying an installer -- but do your homework first
Follow the instructions on the YouTube video to install. It's not a simple task, but not insurmountable either. I ordered a nice 10" crimper from Amazon to help make the connections secure. I used a hydraulic jack and two jack stands to raise the driver's side of the car for easier installation. This took me about 2-3 hours to complete. I supplemented the zip ties provided with some heavier ones I got at the store. Biggest pain was threading the black wire through the frame. Watch the video and follow his lead, it works but may need a couple of tries. The three-way connectors for the lights are a breeze. Again, if you watch the video, you can see how he disconnects them -- use his technique and you'll have no problems.

The assembly is super easy to install and is a great setup - except for one thing. Video installs show the ground being installed over the other grounds on a screw for the rest of the Rogue's harnesses. When done I had no power to the connector. I found a trouble shooter video that said the ground had to be installed on a separate screw or at the bottom of the stack of grounds. I changed mine to the bottom of the stack and then it worked fine. The instructions really ought to mention this caveat.

Easy to hook up. Power wire was a little difficult. works awesome though
It was a little bit of a pain to run a power wire to the front of the car
