Irritrol 2500TF Globe Valve Threaded with Flow Control, 1"

Just what I need & works perfect for like a year now.

I had a worn-out diaphragm in my 23 year old valve. I found the easiest thing to fix it was to remove the top section of the old valve and replace with the new top section and all the new internal parts. An easy fix and now works fine. Didn't have to cut any pipes and replace as I used the original bottom casing.

Replaced the valve and top of our original 19 year old valves. I lot easier than replacing the entire valve and connection joints. Saves you a lot of time and frustration.

it leaks internally ,i flushed it and it still leaks,,,now it's past my short return window,, I will take it apart,, and see what the issue is

The valve bodies themselves were fine and I didn’t want to completely remove and re-install so I merely replaced the internal parts of the valves, cap, diaphragm & springs, as well as the solenoids. I replaced all three at the same time to avoid future issues. The replacement valves worked perfectly without any issues.

I have bought two of these controllers from the same company and they both have worked well. The flow control handle was useful when trouble shooting the old irrigation system I was upgrading.

We purchased 8 of these valves. 4 of the valves cracked and caused water spurting all over. $800 water bill because they broke during the night. We are past our return for the other 4 so we will eat that, but we have already bought replacements, just waiting for the plumber. And these were not over tightened!
