Clinical Anesthesia

I bought Barash because I just can't read Miller (Baby Miller is great though). This new version is a great deal - you get the book AND the complete on-line product for one price. The textbook is massive at 1880 pages, full color, and looks nice. I haven't even opened mine. The on-line product is amazing! They published it through Inkling (www.inkling.com), and with this version you get full text access plus all the multimedia extras. All are available on the web or via the iProduct/Android apps. The Inkling app isn't quite as polished as iBooks or Kindle, but their help desk was fast and responsive to a minor issue with my account.The material itself is very easy to read. I found a few typos and contradictions, but nothing that detracts in a meaningful way. Overall, I am very happy with this version of Barash, making it my go-to source for information.

If you have access to a Kindle or Kindle application device, then this is THE book to have within our medical specialty.I strongly recommend the Kindle edition of this book to the interested public, medical students, interns, residents, fellows, and attending anesthesiologists everywhere.

Continues to be a great anesthesia resource. Updated videos, text, and interactive media. I want to let everyone know that you must buy the hardcover. DO NOT buy the kindle edition. The hardcover is sitting on my bookshelf but the best part is the inkling copy that you get for free! You can download this app to your iphone, ipad, or other handheld devices. It comes with the full ebook and has all the videos and multimedia. This is where people were disappointed with assuming the kindle version would have all of this. Don't get me wrong I have hundreds of kindle books, but for this one use the inkling format. PLUS you can highlight and make notes and it transfers to the copy on all your devies (your computer, ipad, iphone, etc.) I had never heard of inkling before but I am now a huge fan.

Great book! Numerous figures and tables that help you unserstand and remember things better. Found some problems with the mobile version but still a book that is a " must" for every anesthetist.

Excellent reference for CRNA school and clinicals (and future boards)! Easy to understand/read. The e-book content via Inkling is wonderful and far superior to any other e-reader I've used. There are a lot of videos and multimedia in the e-book that help explain difficult concepts. This book is not required for my program but our instructors reference it all the time, and it is on the bibliography for the certification exam. Highly recommend!

Barash's Clinical Anesthesia is one of the top anesthesia books for any SRNA, CRNA, Anesthesiology Resident or anyone involved in the field of anesthesia. Easy to read as Morgan and Mikhail, but digging in a lot deeper!

Encellent book, I am a senior SRNA student getting ready for boards besides reviews, this is the only text book i will be using, straight to the point with easy language and structure for understanding.I highly recommended to any one getting ready for boards.regards

The book itself is lovely. The images are clearly labeled with plenty of relevant information. It's well written with pertinent clinical perspectives. This book is not a basic anesthesia book, so I find it really helpful as a supplement to other Anesthesia books.My complaint is that I don't have access to the ebook. So the book arrived in good condition and the access code had not yet been scratched off. I followed the instructions to gain access to the eBook(especially since the book is nearly 1800 pages), scratched the code, entered into lww.com only to discover I don't have access to the eBook!? So I called VitalSource and inkling to locate the eBook. I finally called Wolter Kluwer only to find out that the eBook is no longer accessible...the only reason why I bought this book new was to obtain access to the eBook. The used book is listed on Amazon for $15. So either the seller stole $125 from me(if they knew the eBook was no longer available) or the seller was not informed of Wolters Kluwers changes--either way it's not okay. And the kicker is the 8th edition access code is $250(that doesn't even include the textbook)...listen,people I'm a student and don't have $$ to burn. I have requested a version, 6th or 8th edition, of the digital textbook be offered for free or at a discounted rate. At the end of the day, I'm disappointed and believe there should have been better transparency.

Excelente livro de Anestesiologia. Boa adaptaçao aoaplicativo Kindle, mesmo no iOS. Imagens facilmente visualisadas, texto bem completo, sem dúvida uma boa compra.

Barash is an excellent textbook of Anaesthesia; that goes without saying.Inkling is now on Android and looks just as beautiful as the iOS version. If you already have an Inkling account, you can redeem the access inside the front cover of the physical book directly on the Inkling website, rather than following the instructions in the hard copy of Barash. That way you can ensure Barash ends up in your "library" with all your other books.I bought the last edition on Kindle. Whilst the Kindle is an excellent reader, it is not good for this type of book. The Inkling app and website are much better ways of using this reference textbook.

Il libro è arrivato in perfette condizioni, spedito dall'India a 1/3 del prezzo e con corriere espresso. Unico difetto l'assenza del codice di accesso per i contenuti multimediali. Per quel che riguarda il testo l'ho comprato principalmente a scopo consultativo, mi ritrovo a pochi mesi di distanza a usarlo come testo principale. Il Mille è ben fatto ma molto meno conciso, preferisco mille volte il Barash!
