A good firefighter is never off duty. Fireman Sam and his team are always ready to save the day...even if they break a leg or have the day off! Sam and the crew find it hard to stay away from the best job in the world. From fighting fires to abseiling rescues to saving whales to Flood & Steele traps, these heroes get Pontypandy out of all kinds of trouble! Review: Short 10 minute run time - This is a fun little show with a quick 10 minute run time per episode. Great for a little fun and relaxation without overdoing the kiddies' screen time The tiny fireman wannabe in my life LOVES this show, It's toddler friendly. The animation is simple with lots of bright colors. None of the themes are too 'big kid' for the little ones. But the show is also starting to hook my older grade schooler now too. I love watching this with my toddler as we have a great time making the fire engine sounds together and rooting for the firemen to do their job and help people. It's funny to watch because the voices don't seem to match the characters. Like a small child will sound sound like an old British man, and a grey haired character will have the voice of a child. It's mildly amusing for that reason. Also the people in this town need a lesson in fire safety. They set EVERYTHING on fire! Review: "Cool and calm" - Simple. Teaches some good lessons about fire safety and safety in general. There is something to take away from every episode. Plus, Fireman Sam has left a lasting impression on our son who pretends to be Fireman Sam everyday, fighting an "electrical fire at the Catfish Cafรฉ"

My kids are obsessed with this show!
We love episode 13 where Penny is sick- my kids re-enact Lion needing rescued during play time constantly. While it's not what I would pick to watch it's tolerable for adults too. My kids would probably say it's their very favorite thing to watch!

Great but annoying
I give Fireman Sam 4 stars because my kids LOVE it. It teaches valuable fire safety lessons (my 4 year old checks our fire alarms and for fire dangers etc) without installing fear. The show Spurs imaginative play as well and cooperation among my kids. It loses one star for being obnoxious. The voices are cliche and the whole show is ripe with stereotypes. My kids also watch the UK version on YouTube and I much prefer that version.

Sam keeps entertaining
When I need took cook a meal I know I can put Fireman Sam on my son's #AmazonKidsTablet and get it done. The show is not only entertaining but teaches little lessons. Norman tends to be naughty and we can talk about it after together.

When he hears that fire alarm......
We accidentally happened upon this British children's series on YouTube and when my grandchildren showed a continued interest, I searched and found this series on Amazon Prime and ordered it. Fireman Sam is children's television series about a fireman called Sam who resides in a Welsh seaside town of Pontypandy. Each episode features a moral lesson and Sam, along with the firefighters and the residents, especially the little boy named Norman - a Dennis the Menace type character- do their best to present a comedic episode that shows how doing good is the right way to live your life. I believe this show would be good for children ages 2 through 8ish.

My son's favorite
This show is my two-year old's favorite and he has been enjoying all the new episodes! Thanks, Amazon, for bringing us this show in its original state. Please go back and give us Season 1 with the original voices, so we can enjoy that too!

Disrespectful to our heroes
My daughters love this show and think Quiglington is hilarious. I don't want to be too uptight about a children's show, but I don't think having an aloof, clueless firefighter is the message we want to send to kids about the amazing people who risk their lives for us daily. The writers appear to have very little respect for the profession.
