As my daughter likes taking photos while wearing makeup for her social media activities, she was always on the lookout for better lights. Luckily, we came across many YouTube channels elaborating on this type of ring light on a tripod stand. We searched for the right one while on a tight budget. One of the nicest things when we made a decision to buy this specific product was a clip-on coupon. Another one was great reviews with many actual photos from the proven purchases. When we weighed quality against budget, our final list boiled down to only a few brands in the end. Since some popular YouTubers recommend 10" ring light for amateur photographers or videographers based on its brightness and size, we came to decide on this product. The delivery was quicker than expected. Upon unboxing, it took 10 min ish to assemble all the parts. It is super user-friendly, providing the perfect outcome: 3 different light colors with 10-tier brightness per light mode to select from for your best videography or photography; a small, yet well-functioning remote shutter (battery included) to take photos via Bluetooth pairing without even touching your smartphone on holder; a inline dimmer switch to change both light mode & intensity with ease. Most of all, my daughter is so happy with this product. It is worth every penny I spent. In addition, you can convert this item to a portable selfie stick or sport cam stick by using the extra parts included in its original packaging. In that regard, I would love to recommend this product to anyone looking for zir perfect lights to enhance the outcomes of their photography or videography :)

It says it comes with 3 lighting options. Really it's 2ish options. Bright white, a horrible yellow/orange light, and a dimmer version of the horrible yellow/orange light. You can dim each option. I only use the bright white and it's pretty good. Almost like a natural light look. The phone holder attaches separately to the pole that the light is on. It grips the phone well and the phone has not slipped once. I wish the phone holder could be in the middle of the circle light to keep from having downward shadows. Im not sure it's worth the money I paid for it. Feels pretty cheaply made overall. If I was in need of another one, I'd look for another option. Update: it lasted 2 years and then died.

I've had ring lights on my wish list for a while now mainly for makeup at my vanity and for photography since it puts out a very flattering light on my subjects. Other ring lights are twice the price so when I saw this one I was pretty excited. It comes on a light stand that is of a typical build - just miniature sized compared to my professional equipment - perfect for a desk. The light stand can expand so I could put it on the floor and aim it at a subject. The head tilts which I was pleasantly surprised about. The quality of the light stand definitely met my expectation. The light itself is 10 inches in circumference and is dimmable. I was expecting a wall plug but if you have a usb wall plug you can just stick it in the wall to have it always ready to go on a vanity or you can plug it into a battery pack or a computer if you need to be portable. The control buttons are sleek, easy and simple to use. It also comes with a cell phone holder so you can do videos or pics but I honestly wont be using that because its the light and the stand for makeup and photography that I was after for that great price.

I have loved this tripod light for 18 months!! I do live streams as a part time job, and it really made my life easier by making it simple to use. Plus the light makes me look soooo much better on camera! Tonight it finally died...it was plugged in for about 75 minutes, and it overheated. I smelled ozone when it popped and a shadow cast over me...still the best $30 i spent all 2020! Get it...and then get another one.

I was very happy when I first received the light. Exactly as advertised. Does a good job for zoom meetings (my primary use). Customer service was very responsive when a few weeks later it seemed to be flickering. They sent a replacement immediately. However - when soon after that it wouldn't turn on I found that the usb port it was plugged in to had stopped functioning. It was plugged into a USB port built into a surge protected extension cord. I moved it to another USB port on thay power supply and within weeks the second port stopped working. I noticed the plug was getting extremely hot so my guess is the USB port melted in some way internally. I reportwd this to customer service and after a few back and forth emails was told it wasn't designed to use for an extended period of time. So just a precaution in case you are planning to use this for more than 10 or 15 minutes at a time to pay attention to what your plugging it in to and how hot the usb port may get.

Got this ring light mainly because my room was too dim for conference calls and I needed something to improve the video quality. This ring light is powered by USB and I'm using a small additional USB adapter I had laying around but it also works with the PC USB ports. The tripod is relatively flimsy/thin, but this ring light is super lightweight so I have no concerns about it tipping over under its own weight. The light itself has an in-line mini remote on the USB cable that you can use to turn it on/off, dim or change the temperature of the light. I like the default setting since it looks the most natural on camera. The light is itself is super bright if you have it close to your face so I usually dim it a level or two so it doesn't look too crazy, however, if you're doing something like make up tutorials, I can see that this is the type of light youtubers use to light up their faces (and help improve the video quality).

Sturdy, slim lined, great selection of lighting, stands behind my macbook and makes me look great when I zoom.
