Great, affordable alternative to Philips brand strips
These are great. I'm newish to Philips Hue but I had no problem adding this to my setup. The colors are rich and vibrant, closely matching my Hue bulbs. The mini controller works great and integrates into all my Hue apps with no issues. Definitely a great alternative to the overpriced Hue-branded LED strips.

Good value, but with some trade-offs
The media could not be loaded. TL;DR: Decent color accuracy and good performance when compared to recent Hue Bulbs, but has a weird (and somewhat annoying quirk) when switching between the color spectrum and the white spectrum.I have ordered two of these strips, one with the waterproof LED strip (which my pictures show), and one without, but both have similar performance. This strip, which I bought most recently, has firmware 2.0.1 and I am using it with a second gen Hue Bridge on the January 13, 2020 firmware (1935144040). I am comparing this strip to a Hue Color Bulb gen 3 (LCT014).Color accuracy overall is pretty good. Red, green, blue, and yellow all appeared to match my Hue bulb closely. However, the blue seems to have a higher intensity on this strip, making purples and white (on the color spectrum) appear more blueish than the Hue bulb. On the white spectrum, cool white appears to match perfectly, while the warm white is a little cooler compared to the Hue bulb.Performance seems just as fast as the Hue bulb and I have had no connectivity issues either (although the strip is only about 10 feet away from my Hue bridge in my setup). The first (non-waterproof) strip I bought came with the 2.0.0 firmware, and I had some issues with the light strip dimming on me randomly about once a month, but I haven't experienced that on this strip with the 2.0.1 firmware. However, even on the 2.0.1 firmware, switching between a color on the white spectrum and the color spectrum does not work as expected. When switching between colors on the same spectrum (like from warm white to cool white, or from red to blue) there is a pleasant fade between colors like the Hue bulb. Yet, when switching from colors on different spectrums (like red to warm white) it just jumps between the colors, instead of fading. When switching from a color on the white spectrum to one on the color spectrum there is an added transition, where the color jumps to the white on the color spectrum, and then fades to your chosen color. This is especially jarring when switching from warm white to a warm color like orange or red as the color jumps from the yellowish warm white to a pale blue (due to the color imbalance of the RGB LEDs) and then fades to red or orange. These lights also have some issues with being used with living scenes on Hue Labs, and will not switch from their initial color. They also will not work with Hue entertainment. This is not unexpected, but worth mentioning.Overall, these lights are a great value provided you are willing to put up with a few quirks and imperfections. The small form factor and USB power make them a great option as an accent light that you can put almost anywhere. The white spectrum is also bright enough to be used as task lighting in most situations. While I hope the issues with changing between whites and colors are rectified in later versions, as it stands now, these light strips are still a great option for smart lights on a budget.

Pleasantly surprised.
Was super easy to set up with my existing Phillips Hue, not as bright as other strips but that’s expected coming from a 5v strip. Colors are all rich and the controller has a quick response time. Definitely a good buy especially for the price.

Working pretty great So far...
I was originally going to put this on the back of my TV bench but decided to go with the back of the TV like everyone else... Setup took a bit longer than anticipated due to human error, but eventually got things up and running with no complaints other than there is no hue sync. Screen Bloom seems like a pretty good alternative but most other functions work as expected with my other hue accessories and the hue app.

Great buy
These LED strips are great! They are of high quality and much cheaper when compared to Sylvania Zigbee strips or similar. These pair extremely easy with Smartthings are a generic Smartthings / Samsung device and after pairing identifies itself as a generic LED strip with full color changing abilities. Too easy!

Works with Hue
Works with Hue, much cheaper than the official Hue LED strip and has great color range.

Price is great for what you get
Easy set up, works fine enough for the price. Connected to hue app well, had to unplug only once for it to recognize it. For the price can’t beat it for small zones.

Not very bright
It was good for what it is, but I did not realized just how much less bright the strip was compared to a 12V RGB+CCT strip. I may use it in future if there are small projects that does not require much brightness, but for now, I will go back to using 12V LED strip paired with Gledopto RGB + CCT controller for my Hue setup.PROs:- Self contained Hue compatible LED setup with mini driver + controller- Can be easily powered by any USB portCONs:- Not very bright since it is only 5V
