Great book, great series.
I absolutely love this entire series, even though some of the books have some repetitive information. each book in the series gives a little bit of information on other books in the series, and then that book delves into it deeper. It's never enough information to make any of the books in this series unnecessary. The only thing I wish was a little bit better in this book, was that it had more herbs. There are 100 herbs listed with all of their medicinal and magical properties. Considering the size of the book, could have easily fit a solid 300 with all of the information beings that's the main premise of this book. Either way still incredibly informative and exciting to read.

Excellent content and aesthetic!
So well written and easy for a beginner to understand. The author’s tone is conversational, and very pleasant to read. The book itself has a great texture and the pages are cut unevenly (by design, not a flaw), so it feels like reading a vintage book that was found in a dusty old bookshop... without the smell and dust, of course!

A Primer, an Encyclopedia, and much more.
One thing I really liked about this book is how, instead of just being an encyclopedia of 100 Magikal herbs like a lot of these kinds of books are, it’s also an excellent primer on using herbs for magik, from culinary to medicinal to ritualistic. The author is very knowledgeable about both herbs and magik (history as well as uses). Its beautifully written and easy to understand with tons of suggestions for spells and rituals to address the thorny problems of life.Highly recommend for anyone interested in magikal properties of herbs.

A little busted up, but good
This is a nice tall book! The hardcover feels good and is very pretty. The papers are uneven as a stylistic choice, don’t know why so many reviews complained about that when it’s pretty obviously purposeful - it’s too neat to be a mistake.I haven’t read the entire book yet but I really like the layout and the writing. Very easy to understand, follow, and flip through. The contents are a mix of facts and witchcraft suggestions from the writer. I like the herb encyclopedia section especially. The only issue is that it was not wrapped up or otherwise protected at all during shipping. Instead it was loose to bluntly bounce around inside the box. Because of that all the edges of the cover got scuffed up, and my new book doesn’t look new. I’m disappointed in this and it’s a bit of a pet peeve as I always take good care of my things and this amount of damage would never of happened in years of being owned by me. I wish I received a better-protected book and for that I took a star off. I won’t take more off because I believe this was amazons fault (used amazons +$25 shipping), not on the writer/seller, and otherwise, the book is great.
