OWIE I have tried a dozen brands, styles and colors in my quest to find the perfect color eyebrow makeup for my light brown hair. At 64, my brown hair is being lightened in stages - hides the gray roots much better! I've tried pencils, mascara-like brushes, eye shadow brushes with brown eyeshadow, various liquid pens, hair fiber pens, Wonderbrow - you name it, I've tried it.My pet peeve is that the color swatches shown online are nearly always WAY WAY off! I was initially looking for a light, ash (cool) brown, but it seems that no matter what I bought, it would range from freakish cinnamon to dark chestnut to BLACK - no kidding - no matter what shade of brown they called it.I finally found this Bella Brow in blonde that goes over my light, ash brown brows with the perfect color. I can fill in the blank patches, and also extend my brows out closer to my nose. I can lengthen the tails and get a fabulous shape for my brows using this tool.As others have noted, the trick is to control your strokes! Use the pen with the fan shape DOWN (maybe counter-intuitive?) and gently but steadily brush-brush-brush the color up through your own brows. Then extend the brows on either end and even give them more fullness or a shape with careful application. I use a 15X magnification mirror to see what I'm doing.These brows will last for DAYS if you don't wash them off - no kidding! I love waking up with beautiful brows! The makeup easily comes off, tho, with Almay makeup remover pads. I'm definitely keeping this brand on-hand TFN. One pen for my travel kit, one at home and TWO in storage. LOVE IT.

It took me forever to find the right brow product that looks natural and helps to fill in my supper thin brows. Love this stuff!

Let me start by saying that before I decided to buy this, I did read several positive reviews & only a few bad bones that weren't specific about what they found wrong with the product. When I received it, I washed my face & was about to try it. It says to point downwards for 5 seconds, at which time only after about 3 1/2 seconds a lot of the product had leaked out of the side, which was very disappointing because there isn't a lot in there! The little bit nI was able to salvage I used & then washed it off in the recommended time, and suffice to say, it didn't tint at all, such a waste because I was looking forward to a few days of brows. In conclusion: the pen's design, with the teeth like tip to create natural strokes of the brow was wonderful but the formula and method of getting the product to the brush was terrible because it wasted product which was not very good because it didn't tint at all. I really wanted to love this product because it would've solved my brow problems, but it did not deliver what it promised to do, very disappointed. However, if you feel compelled to try like I did, d yourself a favor & go to your local CVS in the As Seen On TV section & you can buy it there & save you the wait & shipping.

I've been using this for about 4 or 5 months now. On the first use of a brand new tube, there is sooo much product that comes out, that you must use very, very light strokes to keep from having Frankenstien brows. Then, only a few uses later, there is barely enough to get the brows done. There is not very much in the tube, to say the least. For a double pack package for $10, you basically get 6 applications... 3 per tube. If you're ok with that (so far, I am) then just start a subscription to be delivered every week, because this product does not last very long! The finished look, though, looks nice after a lot of practice

So I actually NEED a heavier hand doing my brows b/c am usually too conservative and light w/my application. i used very lightly and as directed and loved the concept of the tip making it look like hair strokes. so first while the tip does have the little design, it did not come out as strokes but just as if i was using liquid marker. it glided on nicely but did not appear as strokes at all. wanted my brows to look "done" but still a naturally enhanced. that was the idea of the strokes. this is the opposite. my brows actually look painted on and a bit like a costume. if anyone has seen the episode of Seinfeld where Elaine paints the uncles brows w/a marker? i was the blonde version of that. i realize it can be tricky w/ blondes and the blonde color. i think if i had naturally dark brown or black hair, these brows w/this type of product may be ok looking a little more dramatic. but this painted on style is def not the desired effect so am sending back.
