Wayside School Gets a Little Stranger

Our middle school son reads on a senior high school level but he still enjoys these books. Although, he will read one in a day because it is an easy read for him but he finds them entertaining and that’s better than screens if you ask me!

This is the third book in the series. Every time I read it (which is every year to my new group of third graders) I pick up on something new. The books are entertaining for all of the students and one they ask to be read as soon as I finish reading the second one, Wayside School Is Falling Down.

Very cute and fun book for all ages.

My 10 yo son started out reading the first Sideways stories and he liked it so much I had to get him this one. He HATES to read so finding this was like finding a goldmine. The stories are short and straight to the point, they don't drag on so it keeps his interest and oftentimes the stories are pretty good. These books would even be good to read to your kids because they are short and to the point and I even enjoy them (sometimes Dad isn't trying to read a chapter book for bed when the chapters are longer than you want). If you're finding your kid is struggling with reading or you're even trying to read to them to show them that it can be fun then I recommend these books. Heck read them to your kids to get them into books if you have to. I think my son sees a big book and goes "no way I'm reading all that". With these short stories he isn't intimidated by it. Often one story will be so good and short that he moves to the next one and keeps going because he wants to see what the next story will be. I need to find more books like this.

My 8 year-old grandson loves this set that we bought for his birthday. I read some of it before giving it to him and I thought they were fun stories. My grandson enjoyed them so much that he insisted on reading some to me. (He was a good reader, but never wanted to read to me when I asked.) I'm so glad he loves them!

This book is great. Suitable for all ages and its funny and imaginative. Definitely worth 5 stars. Read the first to books to understand it as well.

Came fast, as expected

１巻目の★３つから始まり， ２巻目は★４つ， そして，ついに，３巻目のこの本には★５つを付けてしまいました。 しかも，「やさしたくさん」とはこのことでしょうか。 とっても簡単な英語で書かれているので， もともと，するする読めるものなのですけど， 不思議と，だんだんと読むスピードが上がります。 でもって，今回のラストはとってもハッピーです。
