Great product for mess-free art
My 3 year old boy and 5 year old girl both love these. These are probably the best product for a younger child to use to paint and not make a huge mess. My children are not exactly the neatest or cleanest artists. With watercolors, washable paint and paint by numbers we usually send them outside to paint and even then the place, their clothes and their art work is a huge mess. Their artwork typically ends with all colors combined resulting in a brown blob. With the do-a-dot markers we actually let them color in the house without covering the entire room in plastic. I also purchased one of the coordinating coloring books and they really like coloring the pages. They can use these like markers so that they can stay within the general vicinity of the lines and paint different parts of the pictures different colors. They have lasted for many uses and seem to have quite a bit of paint left in them for many more future uses. If you do get the coordinating coloring book, I would recommend making copies of the pages before use as the book is expensive and my kids typically color 5 pages at a time.

Can't find these in stores.
These are nice for pre-k learning activities and crafts. I recommend searching for "do a dot" on Pinterest and you can find countless free printable activities which help them learn their numbers and letters. I thought that I could just go to the $1 store and get some bingo dobbers, but honestly these are much nicer. Each container is thick and allows their tiny hands to get a nice grip around it, they also release the right amount of ink where the bingo markers and some other brands of these SATURATE The paper and make a huge mess. (Not to mention some of them don't wash out! these are non toxic and washable)You are paying a premium for these, but making it easier for small hands and the lack of mess, It's worth the extra money.( I do wish they were a little bit cheaper, hint hint ) .

The best dot markers out there
The media could not be loaded. You cannot beat the quality of these dot markers. I have purchased other brands, and these are my favorite. They don't leak or bleed when dotting. The color quality is phenomenal, and my students LOVE using them.

We love these but they make a mess ...
Easy to use and beautiful colors ... but very hard to wash off! These are definitely neater than regular paint. But they are soooo hard to get off of hands, arms and legs. I had to scrub to get it off - and it took much longer than I would have hoped. That said, the colors in this set are beautiful. The dots work really well. And they seem to last long if you wet the tips.A possible solution is wearing a long-sleeve smock and casual pants!

Great markers, we plan to collect them all!
I’m so glad that I ended up going with this brand compared to others, my mom reasearch paid off! Many of the other brands out there I noticed make really small dots and don’t fill up a lot of the coloring dot pages I’ve been able to find online. They have a variety of different packs in different themed colors so we’re slowly collecting them month by month using the subscribe and save Amazon delivery just so we can save a little bit more money at the library. We recently got to try out the scented ones and they are so fun!

Great for younger kids too!
Sometimes marker and crayon grip can take longer but this is a fun way to craft even with 3 year olds!
