VASAGLE Bar Stools Set of 2 with Footrest, Modern Basic Style

Needed stools for small bar area in our kitchen. They look exactly like the pictures listed. Super easy to put together, comes with instructions. Sturdy and they don’t look cheap. Can’t beat it for the price!!!

We have a Vasagle Dining Room Bar Table that we got a while ago. The stools we use with it are ones we already had. Unfortunately, they are too tall but we made do since we don't sit at the table that often. After some time though, I got tired of how uncomfortable it was to try and sit there so I decided to look for new stools. You can't really go wrong with purchasing the very stools that appear to go with the table you have so I ordered these after reading reviews. When they arrived, I opened the packaging and looked at all the pieces so I could anticipate how long it would take to put together. After assessing that it wouldn't take long, I set everything off to the side to tackle over the weekend. Now, I'm not going to lie here.....that weekend we met up with some friends, had a couple of breakfast drinks (not something we do often, but hey, it was the weekend) and then set off for home after eating and visting. Once we arrived at our house, I, a bit too loudly, declared I was going to put the stools together. Admittedly, I was just a wee bit tipsy having slightly exceeded my drink limit. My husband, knowing better than to talk me out of it, just shook his head, sat on the couch and turned on football. I spread everything out on the dining room floor, analyzing it all as if I was looking at top secret blueprints. All the pieces and tools needed were there. I took a deep breath, began belting out Christmas songs to myself and the cat and I got to work. Well, let me say, these were a breeze to put together! I was able to get all 4 stools (we bought 2 packs) set up and ready for sitting in less than a half hour. There was no violent arm waving, no head shaking, no swearing and not once did I proclaim what a stupid idea it was to purchase them in the first place because the stools we already had were "perfectly fine." Everything went smoothly, fell into place and better yet, held up. They are sturdy with no wobbling and look great with the table, as they obviously should. No, they aren't the most comfortable, but we don't sit at the table for long periods of time so it doesn't really matter. I do plan on buying cushions for them though. If you are looking for nice looking stools that even someone who may have had a few too many can put together, look no further! These are the bar stools for you!

We have a small expandible dining room table that we got for free a couple of years ago, but there were only three chairs. So we finally decided to get a couple of replacements for the missing chairs. These stools were perfect, and in fact were the perfect height for our needs. The stools are very simple, as they should be - after all, they're barstools! - and are extremely easy to put together. All of the screws are the same and are included (one extra comes with the set) and the seat is made out of a thick piece of high-quality varnished wood. Each stool is composed of 6 metal pieces and the wooden seat and they FEEL solid. That has the effect of providing solid stability once put together. My wife and I put the set of two together in about 15 minutes, working together. Regarding "comfort," which I gave a rating of 3, I will say that that is only because they're barstools and not a sofa or recliner. They're only going to get so comfortable. I'll say they're no LESS comfortable than most dining room chairs - or barstools for that matter. In fact, I actually like these stools more than the dining room chars we currently have. All this to say that we really like these stools, and are going to buy another set. I highly recommend them.

The only reason I gave this a 4 star is because the edge was a little sharp. It wouldn't cut but just uncomfortable if you slid off. I sanded around the edge and they are much better. They are the perfect height for my 4 year old Grandson to climb on and sit at the bar. The brown/black color looks great. They are solid. They also were easy to put together. It took maybe 30 minutes for both. They are light and easy to move if needed.

Super easy to assemble and a solid as they get. I use these “barstools” as end tables on either side of my bed. They look great and are perfect size to hold my lamp, clock, cell phone charger, and remote control.

I recommend the stools, especially considering the low cost. The look nice and were easy to assemble.

I finally got moved and put these together they look really good at my kitchen Island. Be aware tho the edges are a bit sharp on the corners. They maybe should have rounded them a bit they can scrape (not cut) your skin if wearing shorts and you slide off one end. Still they look good and are very sturdy. Gets the job done for me.

Takes about 30 minutes to assemble each chair. Due to the design, the allen head bolts are located in tight areas not allowing a full turn on the allen wrench. To make matters worse there was an overuse of LOCTITE on the threads near the end making it difficult to start the thread and potentially cross-threading the screw. Also the seats are ergonomically uncomfortable because the corners protrude upward putting pressure on your thigh area. Another problem that causes is it makes the thin vinyl covering prone to accidentally pealing off at the corners. This happened to one of the 4 stools DURING assembly. I was able to glue it back down. I actually assembled them on our table and had a thick towel under them to protect the stool and the table top yet the vinyl still peeled back on the corner even with the extra care. I like the looks of the stools but I dont see them standing the test of time.

Compact and light and look good. I was especially impressed by the industrial design of the flat packaging, parts manifest and assembly, which easily rivals IKEA. An extra nice touch was that the Allen screws even had pre-applied blue Loctite style thread-locker. I would buy VASAGLE furniture again!

Bought these on a whim and I’m so happy with them! The seat is not real wood, but looks decent enough and is exactly as pictured. They feel very sturdy and are quite comfortable to sit on despite being a hard surface, seats are just the right width. They fit perfectly under my counter height island.
