Works well for a non-high end terminal
I used this terminal for a new sub box for dual 10" speakers. The terminals themselves are screws on the exterior that will hold down the 14 gauge wire I used. Because this isn't a very high end terminal there might be a slight potential for the screws to loosen over time as the subs hit. If this is the case screw them back down again. On the interior of the terminal is your typical brass connector that is very light weight brass. I recommend soldering to these terminals as terminating to these tabs with a twist of wire won't stay on long.As for mounting the terminals mounts very well and with carpet on the sub box this terminal settled into the carpet and is flush mounted and feels very sturdy. All in all I would buy again.

Looks like original
Worked great for replacing a broken one. Easy to replace and perfect size. Has held up nicely and looks great.

Great for a sub box, but flimsy internal terminals
Ok so I thought these were the spring loaded terminals but I was mistaken and they're screw down. That's fine, probably easier to work with if you use banana plugs. However, the inside of the terminal cup as these flimsy terminals that look like they're supposed to take female spad terminals but are far too thin for them, causing them to slip out. Not a big deal for me though, as I soldered the connection anyway. Comes with a gasket and 4 black screws. Over I would buy this terminal cup again given the price point.

Great value and well built
I whipped up some garage speakers out of MDF and these fit the bill perfectly for the task at hand. They are sturdy and finished well. The holes for the mounting screws are countersunk appropriately and the baffle is a nice touch as well. I used a 1 7/8" hole saw and while I think I could have forced it with a rubber mallet, MINIMAL hogging out of the hole with some 220 grit sandpaper yielded a snug fit. I'd gladly purchase these again for a speaker build in the future.

Better then i was hoping for
Bought this to replace a broken push in style terminal. No where in the posting does it say it will come with screws, but I'm happy to say it does. It also comes with a rubber gasket to seal the terminal to the box. This will def bring a prefab box up a notch. The terminal holds speaker wire very well. Great for a box that gets moved regularly. My only complaint would be the thin metal used for the spade terminal on the inside of the box. If you use any pressure to slide the speaker wire on, it will just bend the metal.Overall a great item. I would definitely buy again.

Wow! Expensive for the actual constrruction. The pictures looked good, but this is actually crap!
Wow! Expensive for the actual constrruction. The pictures looked good, but this is actually crap! I feel it was a bait and switch! Did it work, yes. Will it last, NO!. It is now the weakest link in my subwoofer build. Here is why. The plastic cup was fine. The terminals are however, too weak to clamp down on a serious gauge wire for long. The brass rings that are the clamping forrce are thin and not threaded well, they will strip out. Also the terminals will not hold when tightented. #3 is the biggest, it is NOT AIR TIGHT. I could have gotton a better product, for the same money. Instead I paid a preimum, for crapola! Thats the definitian of a ripoff! Amazon is sucking more and more these days. Kind of akin to Wish crap from overseas. NEVER AGAIN! Also, screws and a gasket were promised, but not included. Another ripoff. I wanted to finish my project, so I fixed the issues with epoxy and sealant. I should not have had to for the money I spent. Did I say this was crap! Oh, yeah, this is crap......

Generic item sold here for different prices. Quite usable.
Sturdy and will work well for a sub-woofer but it would have been nice if whoever assembled them had turned the wire holes so that they were usable out of the package. Easy to fix for yet it shows that they don't care about what they are making.

Good product
Great quality works well

Gets the job done for sure
They 100% get the job done if you’re not picky. Only concern I could really have is the inside of the terminal cup, where you connect your speaker wire to the little flanges are a little bit weak, but overall really happy with purchase

Hard to use if you aren't using banana plugs
Reasonable quality and a good fit. Be aware that the screw terminals to tighten onto spade connectors or bare wire are very hard to use because of the small diameter of the hole they sit in - I couldn't get my fingers around them to tighten. Works fine with banana plugs.

Nice Upgrade
Good quality, perfect fit, a nice upgrade over original spring loaded speaker wire terminals. Recommend!

Pictures aren’t what it appears to be
I ordered what appeared to be in the pictures provided for this product, instead I got a different product like this but i couldn’t use it for my repair. Just beware if you are getting this product the pictures aren’t accurate to what it is
