Can you put a larger cable on this? It looks like it comes with 1/4 wondering if 3/8 will fit for a replacement?

Yes you can but watch the length. The larger you go the shorter the cable will have to be. Larger cable takes up more room.

What size winch rope ? 1/2 inch x50 ft ?
