This glove is perfect for young players learning the game. It's lightweight, comfortable, and easy to break in compared to other gloves we've tried. The fit is great for smaller hands, and the quality is exactly what you'd expect from Rawlings. My child was able to catch and control the ball with confidence after just a few practices. It's durable, well-made, and an excellent value for youth baseball. Highly recommend for beginners and developing players!

Great quality youth baseball glove. I purchased 4, (2 left, 2 right), and they don’t need much breaking in after they arrive. I did put a weight plate on them for a couple nights just to break them in more. The color and material look great. Soft on the back of the hand and padded on the palm. Likely a good size for around 8-12 y/o. After that it may start to feel small for their hand and outfielders especially would likely prefer a longer glove with bigger pocket. There’s a baseball in the glove for some of the pictures for size comparison.

this is a well made glove. it seems to be authentic leather. it's made for a 9 to 12 year old as it is light, slightly shorter than an adult glove and made for a smaller hand. at $80 it's price is really low as a professional adult wilson a2000 glove runs $340. it's made in vietnam so i can't speak for its durability but it should last for at least 3 years. also it's a good looking glove with the gray color.

This is a nice 1st baseman glove, unfortunately my grandson does not play 1st base. Had to return.

Nice glove. Son enjoys using since it is hard to find a good quality glove for lefties. It does take ALOT of breaking in though so be prepared.

Great glove! My kid plays for the Osceola Chieftains and the glove held up really well. The size was perfect, it broke in very fast and it has good cushioning.

I got this for my 7yo son, who previously had a cheaper 10.5" glove. It had man made laces and screen printing on the heel and index finger. He was also starting to outgrow it so I thought he could use the next model up before fall ball this year. I gave it to him a couple days ago and he loves it. The laces are all leather, the pocket is deeper so catching will be easier once he breaks it in a bit, and the embroidered Rawlings logo on the index finger makes him feel like he's wearing a pro glove. Who am I to let him think otherwise ;-) It has good padding in the palm to absorb shock from catching and he says it's comfortable to wear. I didn't really need to oil it because it's already 90% broken in but I oiled the glove with Sarna glove conditioner anyway before I gave it to him. I also tightened up the laces a little to make it a bit more rigid and give the glove a little more structure to aid in catching better. This should last him the next several years of play, which is good because he does need to grow into this one a little.

Rawlings is always my first pick for any glove. I've had my rawlings since 1991 and I'm sure my daughter will have this one just as long.
