Greta value for the money
This replacement Xbox game controller works great. My husband has a tendency to drop them on the floor and after a while I have to purchase a replacement. It is no fault of the manufacturer as they are built solid. Good quality plastic. I have had no issues with compatibility, it fits perfectly and works perfectly with our old Xbox. I have also not experienced any issues during gaming, so it's gaming capability is great. If you are looking for a wired Xbox controller look no further. Good value for the money.

What you expect
Bought this for my old xbox 360 as our controllers gave out. My 5 and 7 year old have had no issues with any of the buttons or joy sticks. Works fine and also works on our pc with steam as well. Worth the money so far. Cord length is also great. Matches what we had before so no need to rearrange the setup.

Overly Sensitive Sticks (excessive stick acceleration)
Got this for my Xbox 360, that still works well - The controller arrived on time, looks and feels great, plays great, and, feels pretty durableMy only gripe, is the stick sensitivity - it is, TOO damn sensitive - the acceleration is WAY too intense, and, I hate that (hence, 4 stars)It's almost impossible to play First Person games - some games may be playable if you lower the sensitivity (like COD Black Ops - precision is still difficult, to impossible, tho), or, if precision isn't a big part of the gameI wanted to play Halo Anniversary, but, the aim stick acceleration is just, too annoying - I can't pop Grunt heads for crap 😭😭If there's a way to fix this, I'm all earsBut personally, I'd just look for/stick to, official release controllers, and pay the price - it's more worth it in the long run

A good Buy
I needed a new Xbox 360 Controller, I have this one a shot. I'm very pleased with the performance and feels great and haven't had any problems. I'll definitely look into buying a few more soon.

Great
Ordered this for my kiddo. Build quality seems solid. It’s has a pretty sharp look. Buttons and joysticks are appropriately “tight”. Price is great. Very good purchase.

Great controller, not for all games.
TL;DR Analog sticks are terrible for games heavily dependent on them. Rest of the controller is greatLet me start off with the positives, This controller is a bargain deal and for the price, i'm not sure if you can get much better than this. I was able to plug the controller into my PC and get playing immediately, no setup needed. The controller feels great in my hand, the buttons have a satisfying feeling to press and everything on the controller works. If that were the end of the review, this would be a 5 star review, 10/10.However, After playing just a few minutes of games with this controller, I noticed a massive flaw that makes this controller pretty much unusable outside of very casual gaming. The analog stick input is awful. When playing forza horizon 5, I noticed i'd be trying to turn the car, only to end up going straight,, missing a turn or crashing into walls, I attributed it to not being used to the new controller, but then I played GTA IV, i'd have issues with driving in that game as well, and movement felt.. weird..I decided there was something definitely wrong here, and so i checked with my old xboxone controller, Smooth sailing and everything was as it should be. So confused, I found a controller checker online and tried to figure out what was up, lo and behold, when doing a circularity test, it finds some deadspots/failure spots in the analog sticks and there it was, the problem. This controller has awful analog sticks because when you tilt them to a certain angle, the input isn't read, this is terrible for most modern games because movement is supposed to be dynamic, not just up down left and right, the whole point of the analog stick is to be able to go in more than just 4 directions. These analog sticks have trouble with providing accurate input for Northwest, Northeast, Southwest and Southeast. Because of that, I can't use this controller for most of the games I play and so now I need to buy another one.Buyers beware, if you need to turn both analog sticks accurately at all 350 degrees, this controller will give you a headache and fight you. Other than that, this is a very solid controller.

"Length Matters"
I hooked up a USB Extension and it didn't operate properly giving me a pretty bad first impression. The extension works fine on my Xbox One controller and PS4 controller for PC, but not with this for some reason. When plugged DIRECTLY into a PC after you actually BREAK IT IN, it works pretty good. The right analog stick took some breaking in.If you are traveling and gaming with a laptop, this might be a really good option cause you'd be plugging directly in.I plugged it into an old 360 and it worked exactly as it should on a 360.Once again, it takes some breaking in.I hate that I have to sit so close to my PC to use this thing. Hopefully I'll find an extension that will work with it. If you don't mind sitting about 6 ft from your console, you'll be just fine after you break in the controller.would've given this 5 Stars if not for the extension situation
