Premium Brad Point Drill Bit - High-Accuracy Woodworking Size: 12mm x 151mm

Very sharp. The size is exactly as described. The case is a bit flimsy but dies the job to protect it. It drills like a champ cutting the diameter needed for bolts. It is very stable, very straisht alignment too. It was very easy to use.

This bit drilled clean through some old hickory that I'm using. Every entry hole was sharp. I have had issues with some other bits pulling up fibers on the entry hole in this wood, so this is appreciated. I used a backing plate to ensure I didn't blow out the back and that was successful. You don't know what a quality drill bit can do for you until you try.

Fisch quality is top notch. With proper care taken this Brad point drill bit makes a clean hole that is on size.

Bought this to drill through 3/8 inch acrylic. Drilled through perfectly with no chips or cracks like you usually get with a regular blade. It's a Fisch product so definitely a quality bit.

Did the job for when you need exactly 3mm hole in the right place.

Was thinking about making a little gadget to clean out broken pins (plastic) and lacked a 5mm bit, This one seems to be high quality but I've thought the same about other bits that then broke or got dull after only a few holes. So TBD. Using it in a guide/bushing makes it harder to feel if the tip is centered, but it seems straight and the diameter seems right. The picture seems to imply that this might be two bits--it's only one.

The little drill bit that could. I had for the first time of my life drill into hard wood poles. And only 3 mm holes. I bought a few "cheaper" ones for like 2€ and this one (about 5€). The first broke on the first hole, and felt fleamsy from the get go. Then I used this one and another longer one from another brand to extend the hole a bit further. After about 50 holes, the "extender" also broke. So we had to use only the Fisch one. Had to do it in two steps, plus we worked hard to clean the flutes between drills. But eventually - it held up 280 holes in hard wood! You can see how it looks like afterward.
