This device works but needs quite a bit adjustments to make it work
The device works but it needs a lot of time to figure out how it works.1. The instruction and panel don't tell you when the timer will start. My guess is timer starts right after you put batteries in. So if you want to water the plan, say at 7AM, there is no instruction to tell you how to do it.2. As long as the batteries are in, the program starts. I know I can manually turn on/off watering by pressing the middle on/off button. But instruction didn't tell you if that will affect the timer setting or not. I have a situation that the timer seems stop working but the middle LED light shows it is in sleeping mode.3. Basically, the manual is not very clear.4. It is a very basic timer and pump combination device. In order to test how much water each watering period will deliver, I set up my equipment as in the first picture. However, the 2nd picture shows you each outlet may not get the same amount of water.5. So I have to arrange my plants and the tube to make sure it gets decent amount of water by trying different settings - 10 sec, 20 sec, 30 sec, etc. And finally I got the setting that is acceptable. I only want to water 4 plants, if you have more, then you need to figure out what is the right setting and plant height and sequence of each plant on tube.6. I put my plants on garage floor, because I simply don't trust this device on floor inside my house.Anyway, this device works but it will take quite a bit of your time to do some experiment and adjustment.

Problems with drippers, hose and water pressure
I bought it for the times I travel and am not around to water my indoor vegetables pots.At the time of assembly I faced these issues:1) the Hose is made of hard material. It is good for the low risk of any tear but it is hard to keep the watering line steady; so I had to fix the hose with scotch tapes and cable staples in its place,2) the narrow tail of the dripper is long. The users must cut the hose to the pieces of different lengths they need. In case you need to push the dripper into a short piece of hose that fits a spot in your pot you will find out the narrow tail of the dripper does not fit into the hose and water either leaks or stops,3) while putting the hose+filter in a water tank, I faced with 'the curling firm hose' issue again. Since it is firm and has been curled in the box, the hose retracts to its curling position and goes out of water. I tried to fix it by securing the hose to a hard and straight (wood) stick with metal clips. Upon my return I found out that the hose still attaching to the straight stick was twisted under the recoil pressure and the filter has been out of water probably for the last 1-2 days of my trip.4) after setting up the irrigation path and securing the hose with tapes and cable staple, I programmed and started the pump. It worked really good until one minute later that I realized that water was not coming out of a few drippers. It was not about ht distance. Some farther drippers were irrigating while a few nearer ones were not. I think the drippers attached to a slightly bent hose and the ones with their narrow tails not fully pushed into the hose (I mentioned above) were the failing ones. Is it a pump pressure issue or other things, I have no idea, but I found my plants/vegs unevenly watered and some patches were dying.Returned it upon my return!

about 30 minutes setup time to water one plant.
The drip spikes were tedious to set but the controller/pump was ideal. It would be an improvement if the tubing were more flexible.

It works
Instructions are very confusing

Almost good
Shortest setting is once every 12hrs... short circuits from not being waterproof, need to take it apart and let it dry before it will work again... Doesn’t distribute water evenly... did not work at all for my set up

Good value.
Very simple to set up, even though the instructions are not written well. Does a good job of keeping plants watered.
