Acorn Women's Dara Slipper

I was very disappointed when I first tried them on. I had to jam them on my feet. I looked up other reviews and saw that they loosen up. I succeeded in getting them on my feet finally. I wear a size 9 and bought these in an 8-9. I wore them for a while and then I got busy doing something by the time I sat down again, they had stretched out to fit my foot!!!! It is the strangest thing. My heel wanted to go inside the back band so it wouldn't flip flop. Again after a day or two, I never noticed where my heel ended up. They really seem to take the shape of your foot.I love the looks of the slipper. They are plain yet have a feminine touch ....... I got the charcoal ones with the multi blue band and the two very small flowers on each side.They have heel support and some arch support, enough to make it comfortable all day. I highly recommend these!!!

These slippers fit like a glove and are extremely comfortable. The wool is soft but looks and feels durable. The footbed is well cushioned and sits over a substantial sole that would be suitable for quick outside trips or even as a driving slipper (in my opinion).What I love best is these slippers do not attract dog fur! I have four big dogs who love to snuggle and all of my previous slippers ended up looking like dead rabbits tied to my feet. These slippers repel the fur like nobody's business! Woo Hoo :-)

I love Acorn Wearabout mule clogs/mules for their arch support. These are NOT comparable. The heel is much thinner & there is no arch support. In less than a month, I've donated to a thrift store & purchasing tried & true Wearabout mule clogs

I bought these to replace my 2 year old ratty Haflinger slippers. These are comfortable and nice looking. The soles are sturdy and don't skid. I imagine I can walk to the mailbox without damaging the soles. I had selected size 9 but they came as size 8-9 and are snug. My experience with boiled wool slippers tells me they'll loosen up soon enough. Looking forward to winter.UPDATE: After 6 months, the slippers did loosen up so I'm glad I didn't get a larger size. I often wear them without socks and the woolen sole has been felting and peeling off. Not terrible but I wish they didn't. Also, without socks, my feet tend to sweat. The reason I downgraded to 4 stars is the little "lip" at the heel which defeats the purpose of a mule. I still have to "shoehorn" with my finger to put them on. Next time, I'll go back to the Haflingers.

I've had these about a month now. I have fleece slippers from this company in the same size that are extremely comfortable but they're white and look like slippers. I wanted something to wear on a daily basis that looked less like bedroom slippers so I ordered these. They are well-made, sturdy and have the look that I was hoping for. One (kind of) problem is that they fit smaller than the fleece slippers. At first I thought they were going to be just too small and that I'd have exchange them. However I started wearing them an hour at a time and over time the wool has stretched and loosened enough that I can wear them. They're still a little snug across the bridge of my foot but I can live with it. The length was always all right. It was across the opening that it felt too tight.2/7/18 I ran across this and decided to add to it. I wore these every day for a long time. They softened but didn't really stretch out. I washed them in a machine and let them air dry. They still fit about the same. However, the second time I washed them, I also let them air dry - but outside. They shrank. I keep trying to wear them, hoping they will stretch out again but with no luck. They were always tight across the bridge of my foot. Now they are impossible for me to wear. My best advice - buy bigger than you think you need because the chances are, they will shrink. I'm sad about them. They still look new.

This would be my 3rd pair of Acorn slippers. The first pair lasted about 3 years. The second pair I still have and got them over 2 years ago. They are starting to show wear so I ordered this pair. I could tell right away, this 3rd pair was not the same quality as the first two pair. Already, I have a wear hole in the red band at the top of the slipper. They have stretched out of shape too. So much so I am clip clopping around in them. I am very disappointed in this pair of slippers considering I paid $46 for them. : ( The first two pair were wonderful slippers.......the 3rd pair not even two months old and wearing out.

Love, love these slippers. I need support in a slipper due to back, leg and feet issues. I have an extremely high arch. These offer great support, comfy and soft. Great quality and like so much my husband is ordering a men's Acorn slipper. At first not quite sure about half heel in back. I didn't want slippers that would flip flop like bath slippers. When you first put on they do a tad. But as you wear them more the slippers conform pretty fast to your feet shape and that stops. Would highly recommend and buying some for Christmas presents. Feet stay warm if it's cold and cool if it's warm. I hate my feet to get over hot and these are great.

These are nice looking, I like the boiled wool, they are cozy inside without actually being fleecy, which would have been too warm for me. They fit quite well. I wear about 10 1/2 wide normally, and these fit perfect, surprisingly. I wanted a stable durable supportive sole, check. I like them for going out on the deck or in the garage or working in the kitchen in the evening when I tire of wearing my sneakers. They stay on my feet, and with socks, they don't flop when I walk, which my very old pair of Acorns mules did. BTW, those lasted many years until the heels wore through. My heel does not mush down the small rim at the back of the mule, it fits inside very nicely.Now for what I wish was different. The only cushion in the foot bed, is the the rubber (?) sole itself and the fleece. It's not bad, but could have used some memory foam or something. If there was some way to insert gel soles, that could help, but the soles are sewn down. These would have been a perfect 5 stars if there had been more cushion.For many of you, this may not be a problem at all. I kept them, and wear them, because they do fit very well, and provide more support than most slippers.

Sizes smaller than stated. Buy a size up for a good fit.

Bought these for my wife, 2nd pair now as the first pair lasted two years of daily use and are still okay but well worn. She loves these slippers as they are very comfortable and warm. These well constructed Acorn slippers last much longer than previous models of other slippers. The designs on the Acorn slippers are also very nice. A great product that we will buy again.

They are the best slippers I have ever owned. These are my 5th pair. My husband also has Acorn slippers. These days we live in them, they are comfortable but also solid enough with the sole, to go outside. I bought a pair for my mother who lives in a residence and recommend no slippers but these are built solid and they have no problem with her wearing them.

No foam in the sole made this style very uncomfortable. After much research I found that the Cloud memory foam footbed comes with the Acorn Forest Mule style.

The boiled wool lets your feet breathe and keeps them warm. The base is soft and comfortable. The sole is non-slip.
