Classroom Assessment for Student Learning: Doing It Right - Using It Well

Bad experience. Can’t use at all.

I ordered this as a textbook for one of my college classes. The book arrived a day ahead of schedule and was packaged very well so that there was do damage to the cover or other pages. Lots of great information and strategies for student teachers and teachers already in the field. I chose to buy this book instead of rent like I usually do for my classes so that I could keep it as a resource for when I finish my degree and have my own classroom.

It came well kept. It is as good as a textbook can get I guess.

Item was as described

When I order a NEW textbook, I expect the pages not to have smearing ink. My only options are to return it for a replacement or refund. The smearing isn't super bad, and I can't even afford to return it because I need it for a class.

We could not download the book. It was asking for codes and when we put them in, it said invalid. I’m disappointed!

The title isbn is false. I bought the textbook thinking I would get the one advertised in the title. The isbn for this book is not 9780135178980. it is 9780135185575. Make sure to read the description before buying. I am now contacting my instructor to make sure this textbook is ok to use.

I read a lot of books on education and found more value in this one than in many others. If you're looking for help creating assessments or just some new ideas I would definitely recommend this one.

I was happy to find this as my bookstore version from my university didn't have a physical book, and the digital version my professor recommended was over $100 . I assumed where it was an e-book version they would simply email you the code but they mailed the code. That was a bit annoying as it took a month to get here but it worked just fine after all. You have to follow the steps carefully to create an account and select your book. As long as you follow the directions you will get what you need.

The product title of this is quite deceiving. It leads you to believe that it is the e-text (code) for the textbook but it is not, which you will only realize when scrolling down and reading the in-depth fine print description. I only realized this when the product dropped in price and the deal seemed too good to be true. The delivery and return process took incredibly long, perhaps because I’m in Canada. I was not fully refunded for my return cost either. I was originally going to reject this delivery at the door but of course, the delivery company just dropped it and left. I’m really disappointed with this whole experience. Thankfully, I was able to warn other people in my class before they opened the product.
