They came frozen and packed professionally. They were a huge hit at our barbecue, delicious, and tasty. I will order them again.

My husband was so excited to try their quail. I was skeptical, however we are pleasantly surprised. Order shipped quickly and arrived still frozen and are quality birds. We prepared them in our ninja cooker, recipe online and enjoyed a five star meal. We will be reordering!!!!!!! Couldn’t be happier!!!!

READ FULLY: It took longer to arrive than advertised by the company, w/ Amazon as 3rd party. Collecting the package at the time of delivery from the driver leaves me to believe that if I had not been available to immediately retrieve the package or if I lived any further away from the delivery point, the meat may have gone bad. The product did not arrive frozen for ME & the ice packs had thawed 100%. (LUKE WARM) The meat was not cold when received either. The 94-degree Southern summer weather did not help. The package was boxed & insulated very well with foam that did not leak. The box contained 6 individual packs of 6 whole quail, a Thank you note from TenderBison & "Safe Handling instructions.After the processing days & 4-day shipping, to remedy the nightmare of undergoing the "NO RETURN- Perishable- Contact Amazon- NO REFUND" policy to further assist me, I was compelled to cook the entire case of 36 whole Quail received and FREEZE them until ready to use. The quail were plucked well enough, & not difficult to clean. The ice packs are reusable, so they were washed & there was nothing to waste.In my experience, perishable spoilage is difficult to remedy, under these conditions when the DELIVERY service OR SELLER WILL NOT TAKE REASONABLE responsibility for ASSUMED loss per ADVANCE notice, UNLESS a proven damaged box is received by you. EVEN THOUGH IT'S NOT YOUR FAULT EITHER. I cooked the quail, they tasted a bit gamier than I expected, hence the spoilage sets in. The box showed the quail were packed in February 2023 Nevertheless, they came out fine in spite of the warm & fully thawed, starting to spoil conditions I received them.I suppose living closer to the company itself may help meet the terms offered by the company for frozen products & 2-day shipping. In this inflated market, the Best Part was being provided with GOOD EATS @ a fair price. The wait was reasonable, the quantity was more than offered by most other companies and the quality is amazing ( if received @ or before spoilage set in). This was a great investment for me. I will order again & recommend this company to others. The quail itself was WELL WORTH the experience. This was MY experience, Don't take away what I say, go make your own experiences! One bird was all black & deep purple so it may have been spoiled. We did not take a chance and eat it.

I purchased the quails last year and again this year for our family Christmas brunch. Obviously we have not yet used the quails this year. We could not have been more pleased last year and expect the same level of quality this year. Quails meals have been a family tradition for many years, we hunted them. Unfortunately there is not a quail population in our area anymore that will withstand hunting pressure. It is wonderful to be able to enjoy the bird, even if it must now be purchased and not hunted.
