Do these open up to allow cleaning??

The instructions are inside the sealed package but I would guess it would open up for cleaning - maybe the manu site will tell

Is it suitable for dishwasher?

It is, however, the jets from the dishwasher will not sufficiently rinse away the residual soap from the wash so you will need to wash the product off by hand anyway after its run in the dishwasher.
