This book has very much content and is very useful for you keeping a dragon! I have enjoyed this book a lot and I hope that others would like it too!

My seven-year-old and I love this book. We started reading it together, and I laughed out loud probably every other page. Then my seven-year-old read ahead of me, forcing me to catch up before we could read together again.Fun book. Highly recommended.

Great book! I read this with my son at night and it’s hilarious.

I found this dragon book to be delightful! After finding an odd plant when helping his grandfather dig up the old garden area, Tomas discovers that it is a dragon plant. The kind with actual small dragons bursting from the fruit! I loved the descriptions of the exploding poo (gross) and the antics the dragons get into. Fun, easy to read, and fast moving, The Boy Who Grew Dragons, is perfect for middle graders who want to read and like adventure and secrets. Nearly every page has some sort of complimentary illustration, whether it is a dragon, a person, or dragon-breath score marks along the edges. Clever story and perfectly matching illustrations. Great read!

Our 6 year old daughter is in love with dragons so when she found this book she was very excited. The story is creative and adorable, and the illustrations are wonderful. We can't wait to read the next one! I just wish they distributed in the States.

An ordinary young boy, Tomas, discovers that a strange shrub in his grandfather's yard grows strange fruit. He takes home one of the strange fruits and it hatches a dragon. He loves his new pet but it's not exactly house trained so keeping it a secret from everyone is a mammoth task. He names it Flicker and saving Flicker from the family cat and kids at school and then saving the Dragon Tree from being cut down and himself from his grandad's neighbour who is sure that Tomas is behind the destruction in his garden... well, phew. It's an action packed story. Eventually he has to share the news with his friends and they all want a pet dragon too but is that even possible? They hatch a plan to try to make it happen.Enchanting fantasy adventure story that will please young readers. I mean, who doesn't want a pet dragon? Young Tomas is a great character and Flicker is a charmer. Lots of fun.And I love the cover - beautifully done.Recommended.
