Incredible camera
Have only had for a month so this isn't a detailed review, however my first impressions are that I'm really happy with this camera. After owning a 100d for 7 years I felt it was time for an upgrade. I do a lot of portraiture and macro photography and with the added megapixels and the benefit of a crop sensor for macro zoom I decided on the 90d. Images are very sharp and single shot tracking is excellent. I'm still trying to get the best out of the AI Servo tracking as it can be a little hit and miss especially if its brightly lit or busy behind the subject. However I've still been able to get insects in flight with relative ease, even using extension tubes on my 100m macro. Detail in my macro photos are excellent thanks to the large 32mp and I haven't had any issues with noise going up to ISO 1600. As someone with a bad neck, I found the 90d not too much heavier than my 100d in real world use and actually balances out some of my heavier zooms better and is quite comfy to carry around using the strap. The flip screen was something I never thought would make a difference until I started macro and is a really handy feature. The 90d was very easy to set up and very easy to customise the buttons to my preferences. The battery life is exceptional even in live mode. I did over 1000 shots and only used about 20% of my battery life . As a last hurrah for dslrs for the near future you can't go too wrong with the 90d and I can truly say you get a lot of camera for your money. I can't wait to get out and use it more and maximise its full potential

Awesome piece of kit
I bought a 750D when it first came out and couldn’t justify the upgrade when the next model had the added recording feature. Now that it’s been quite some time, I figured splashing out on a new camera was more reasonable and I have not been disappointed. Crisp photos, beautiful images. I’m no expert, but the images I’ve been capturing certainly look good quality.

Good for wildlife
Great camera. Been using almost a year now for wildlife photography. Great fps. Sharp photos, good range of options easy access to main controls. Used in rain no problems. Flip out screen handy. Never used flash. Battery lasts me two or three days for stills. Shorter for video. Auto focus good enough for shooting birds in flight. Stuck little wind muffs on mic opening. Phone app good for previewing or social media on the go. Turned off touch screen. Rather use physical buttons. Lost the view finder rubber surround twice, but mught just be me not taking care when removing rain cover.

Brilliant
I bought this camera in a flash sale having returned two cameras earlier in the year - just bad luck. But this camera is brilliant, if not way beyond my technical abilities. However, I'm half way through EOS 90D for dummies- which I highly recommend. I'm practicing in the M for manual mode and only resort to the automatic settings when I'm in a rush. The photos are stunning, so I'm a very happy customer.

Good solid camera
Super camera, really feels solid and above all a inspiration to use the controls are easy to use and cover all shooting occasions, the camera really is a inspiration to use,it has all the features of a camera twice the price, the results are pin sharp, which Amazons upload don't show, battery life is excellent, paired with a good card and shooting is fast and furiously enjoyable, I would definitely recommend this camera.

A fine camera
If this turns out to be the last of the prosumer Canon DSLR's, the 90D will be a worthwhile finale for those who still prefer SLR over mirrorless, just falling short of perhaps where they could have taken it as a last hurrah. Because it is a shame that neither dual SD card support nor IBIS made an appearance, but honestly, those aside, on balance it is—just!—a justifiable upgrade from my previous 70D, with the addition of HDR, UHD/4K video and all the latest processing features, but I can see there's probably not enough for an 80D user to make the leap, or if you won't ever need 4K video. If you have a 60D or lower xxD or xxxD model this will be an excellent upgrade, however; indeed, it is probably an essential one if wanting to stick to DSLR rather than go mirrorless. The manual and semi-manual shooting modes are all present and correct, while a new set of preset picture style modes—while perhaps little uninituitive to select, via the touchscreen—are a surprisingly creative and practical alternative to simply using the regular Auto mode on the selection ring; the Portrait preset's automatic eye-focusing mode in particularly is surprisingly accurate and not just a trick, although it is limited to the live view. Photos: Canon EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5, and Tamron AF 18-270mm f/3.5-6.
