I use these bags with my Dekor plus diaper pail. I researched a lot before settling in this option. My intention was to hack the diaper pail and use regular trash bags because I watched some videos on it and it worked easy with this one. BUT! the pail came with one bag already iserted and we used it for an entire month after we came from the hospital. I was so impressed that I have bought it twice. 7th month and we have only bought this twice.. we still have one long roll in the box, unused from the second purchase and the other roll is still in use so literally, we have only fully used one box in 6months. My biggest satisfaction is that as long as the lid is closed after u drop in a diaper, any bad smell is trapped inside. You won't surprisingly be wondering 'whats that smell' is it the diaper pail?..no not with this one. If you drop a bad smell diaper, you will know on the next diaper change its from the pain cos the flap opens up et voila! the smells comes out a bit. But you close it, and its gone, then after a few more changes, that diaper is buried entirely and the smell doesn't resurface when you open the lid. The bags are sturdy; my baby is 7 months old now and sometimes I sit her in the bath before taking off her diaper so it soaks water. And I am so surprised the decor plus diaper bag hold the soaking wet diapers which is the case every evening for weeks until we change it when its eventually full..with no leakage!! I recommended this and the diaper pail.

There are dozens of dramatic reviews on different versions of the Diaper Dekor refill and system. People are apparently very passionate about diaper pails. I'll keep it simple. Here are the reasons why I kept the Diaper Dekor and tossed the other three systems: 1) Simple, straightforward re-fill design. The plastic is one long roll which you tie off as you use it. Super easy and will save you money in the long-run. 2) NO STINK. I have used the Diaper Dekor system and these refills for 2 years now and I have never had a problem with stink. I think we need a little common sense-- NO diaper pail will smell fresh if its kept full for days on end and never cleaned out. I empty the pail every 4-5 days (you just tie it off, so you're not wasting liners), and I also run a sanitizing wipe along the inside. That keeps it fresh. 3) Price: because of the "tie it off" system, you end up only using as much of the refill roll as you need. Want to empty the pail after a particularly smelly diaper? Fine-- tie off after a couple inches. Leaving it full for many days? No problem-- tie off a few few feet. Its a much less expensive system. I have tried the biodegradable and non-biodegradable versions of the refills. I have not noticed ANY difference in smell/quality between them. I also use biodegradable diapers, so it makes sense to keep everything eco-friendly when I can and I like that Diaper Dekor gives you the option of choosing from green or regular liners.

We use our Dekor Plus pail for cat litter waste and I'm very happy with the whole system. The Dekor is very thoughtfully designed and the liners are easy to use and replace. With two cats and daily scooping we get about two months out of each liner. The liners work perfectly as intended and we've NEVER had an issue with them ripping, tearing, leaking, or falling down in the pail. That assurance and ease of use is enough for me to keep buying the liner refills even though a standard trash bag would also work. I just think Dekor nailed the design!

I have been using the Dekor Plus diaper pail as well as the Dekor Plus Refills for almost 5 years now. They work well and are easy to install and remove from the Diaper pail. If I had to guess I would say that each refill provides around 10 bags worth of diapers which is a lot! As a word of advice, be sure to leave the paper on the refill bags until they are installed into the diaper pail or it will make it much harder to install. If I could change one thing about these refills it's that I wish the plastic had a line on it or changed color as you get to the end of the pack so that you know when your about to run out but that does not effect my purchase of this item whatsoever.

I didn't think I would ever be buying a special "pail" or trashcan just to throw away baby diapers. Fast forward >>> until you have a baby and are changing 6+ diapers a day. You don't want those sitting in your kitchen trashcan, right next to food and eating activities. You also don't want them sitting in your bathroom trashcans. Off in the corners of houses, forgotten about and not emptied very often. Enter the diaper pail and the Dekor refillable bags. The smell of dirty diapers is cut down tremendously. The physical can or pail is a separate product, these are just the bags, but it is a must have if you have a diaper wearer in your house. This product comes with 2 "refills". It's basically a long strip of plastic and you tie a knot at the bottom of it, fill it up with diapers, and then cut it, tie the top and throw that bag away; and start all over again. The pail itself (again, separate product) has built in cutter to make this task super easy. You can change the bag in 20sec or less and don't need to put in a new bag because this is like a "refill". Just keep pulling the plastic out until the entire product is gone and then you will need to put in a new "refill". This happened to us about once every 2 months or so. That process is also easy and can be done in about 30-50 seconds.

To be honest, I haven't tried any other diaper pails but I love the dekor system! I originally purchased it based on the look of the can itself. You can get different colors, but we have the standard white one. We haven't had a single problem with it and our daughter is 9 months old. In fact, we keep one upstairs and one downstairs in our house. We buy these bag refills off Amazon for an excellent price. We've never had an issue with odor, but we change the bag weekly (just do it on garbage days when I'm taking out all the other garbages). I love that it's one continuous roll you just cut off so I never feel like I'm wasting a half filled bag. I only gave it 4 stars, as a previous reviewer pointed out, because I hate how there is no "warning" to tell you that you are close to the end of a roll. There have been a couple times where I found myself unexpectedly at the end of the roll without having a back up. I just wish these were on subscribe and save so I would always have them ordered! :)

The wrapper has very specific directions for installing this refill. Follow them. If you take off the paper sleeve thingy before you're supposed to, you'll have a giant unwieldy tube of plastic that will make you regret all the things. The Dekor system really does a good job at keeping stinky diaper funk at bay: the plastic on the can is hard enough that it doesn't absorb odors, and the plastic on the bags is tough enough that it doesn't let much stink through. I tried using regular trash bags, and that was a big, stinky mistake. They don't trap odors nearly as well as these refills and I didn't even wait until the bag was full before I changed it. That being said, these refills (and the diaper pail) aren't magic. If the pail is filled with a ton of poopy diapers (especially if your kid is eating solids), you get a good pungent whiff when you open the top to put a diaper in and it can sometimes make the room a little stinky too. However, if you do your best to throw solid stool in the toilet and just put pee-filled diapers in the pail with minimal poop, the smell doesn't knock your socks off when you open the lid and doesn't fill the room/your home with a certain unpleasant "je ne sais quoi."

If these are the more expensive option you're looking at, buy them anyway. There isn't a bad smell. Well, maybe a little, but I don't believe it's possible to get less smelly than these are. It's still diapers 🤷. We don't use a lot of disposable diapers, so they ended up sitting in there for longer than is typical sometimes, and we never had a problem. Also, when we did take whatever was in there out for garbage day, we just made the bag be whatever size was needed. It took a long time and several people for us to figure out how to put them on the pail properly, but once you've done it correctly, it's easy to figure out subsequent times. Make sure you don't remove the paper before step 3!
