Absolutely fantastic product. Well designed, solid, comfortable, almost ready to use straight out of the box. Have being using crutches for the last few months, and they are hard work especially over long distances. This scooter requires much less effort, allows travel over longer distances and with reduced chance of falling. Travels easily over gravel, grass and bumpy tarmac. Folds down easily to fit into the back of a car. I would recommend this to anyone with foot, ankle or leg problems

I am thrilled with this purchase, I have managed to attend a 3 day conference and comfortably make my way round the hotel and conference centre, faster than most of those walking! Back at home it helps me quickly get around inside and out. I wish the black had been available but being pink hasn't affected the performance!! It can be hard on the kneeling leg muscles if doing a long distance but, although not recommended to ride sitting down, with the brake on it is perfectly sturdy to sit and catch your breath or take the weight of your feet whilst out and about. I would highly recommend this scooter.

This product is certainly more comfortable than crutches (I broke my ankle in two places). However, it’s SUPER TALL. Even when the pad is on the lowest setting I need to walk on my tippy toes on my good foot - and I am not short (I’m 5’8”). I would warn short people to measure carefully before purchasing. The device itself is good but a little cumbersome. However, I give 4 stars for sturdiness and maneuverability because each day it’s a little better for me. I expect it just takes practice. Also, be sure you have a tire pump to inflate the wheel (something I did not think about when I ordered it, but it could not be used without the tires being inflated first). Finally, (and this was my own misunderstanding, no fault of the seller) you cannot sit on this scooter and move. You can sit on the seat and rest for a moment, but it really is not built for sitting and scooting. You need to look at the more expensive models if you want to sit and scoot.

First I got the cheaper one with the plastic wheels = MISTAKE With this one using the air rubber wheels I was able to have a very good life despite my ankle fracture You can go far outside with this on sidewalks and roads (even grass) without any issues - and everyone you meet will comment and be impressed by it DO NOT load the front basket heavy (i.e like several water-bottles etc) because you will flip over unless careful. But in general you can keep a lot of stuff in there, phone, battery pack, chargers, jacket etc anything you need It gave me a decent life when I was injured Even cooking and cleaning you can do it all if you have a scooter rather than crutches and you're now hands free

I bought this knee scooter with the idea of adapting it for my own situation. I am an above knee amputee so I thought I’d be able to put a seat on and scoot. It works so incredibly well, I’m over the moon. The scooter frame is strong, the steering good and it is well balanced. The bag is big enough to put a small amount of groceries in or I emptied the dishwasher by putting a few things in the bag at a time. I walk my elderly husky with it, being careful, it is a joy to get out and about in an upright position compared to sitting in a wheelchair all day. I’m looking forward to using it to plant up my greenhouse come the growing season. The big wheels are good on tarmac, gravel and short grass. I can’t comment on using it as a knee scooter as I can’t use it as it was intended to be used, but recommend its sturdiness and usefulness.

The Walker I bought is with the all terrain tires, which makes the item taller than the small wheeled version this is a design flaw in that this leg rest does not go lower 2 account for this. Now, using the item is very uncomfortable. Amazon UK sells this item at 179 pounds and 4 that I would expect to get the extra cushioning not have to pay extra. As it's one of the top priced items on Amazon uk. In the knee, scooter Range. This automatically makes for a very uncomfortable journey. I would say unless you have just an ankle break or a moon boot to fully support and cushion your leg you will be in a lot of pain using this item, even for a short period of time. In fact, it is in my opinion that if your break is less than 6 weeks old, you may refracture. Your bones trying to maneuver this scooter as it takes a lot of energy from your bad leg to manoeuvre. the so called bag on the front is just a gimmick it holds hardly anything not worth it I would sooner have the knee cushioning. I will be returning this item.

Hi this product was ordered by me but it is too large for me so when I tried to return it it was very difficult - tried phoning Amazon but also very difficult to make contact - so if you are wanting to order this product make sure of the dimensions otherwise it could be very dangerous

The scooter is fine, if you’re at least 5’8’’ or have long legs! I am 5’6’’ and had to send it back as I was on tiptoe with the knee pad at its lowest. This caused me to be unstable. I’ve given 3 stars because if my legs were longer I think that it would have been more of a success. The knee pad needs to go lower to accommodate the big tyres on the all terrain model.

I am a stocky 205 pound man, and I am very happy with the product. It is beefy enough for me to roll around the gravel with a little effort. Overall pleased with the ease of setup, and quality. It is a bit unstable on the slightest of side hill use, but that is the trade-off with it being narrow enough to get through a doorway. Overall pleased with the sturdyness and ease of folding.

I never write reviews but this has been a LIFESAVER!!! I (female, 5’5”/late 50’s) broke my ankle in 2 places mid-May and have been non-weight bearing for 6 weeks. I purchased a different scooter for ~$159 from Amazon (5/20) and it was great until a plastic piece on one of the wheels broke in week 4! I got nervous about it fully breaking and losing all the recovery ground I’d made. Amazon ok’d me to return the other one (!) and purchased THIS much better scooter!! I was desperate to get this new scooter asap and was able to text the company to request expedited shipping and they said 2-4 days was included in the price. For my order I got it in TWO DAYS!! The nubby tires are much more stable going over driveway gravel, rocks, sidewalk bumps, and inside floor thresholds (old house) etc. These tires are also squishier so the ride is MUCH smoother and I thought the curved knee pad might be bothersome but you can adjust your knee easily even with a cast that comes right up to your knee. The better construction of this scooter is worth the extra money and piece of mind! While I liked the disc brake action on the other scooter better vs this one, there are two mental pieces that grab the tires, which works just fine going up/down slight grades. The construction of this is perfect for large men too because the knee part and handles can go much higher. Because I am 5’5”, I might ask my husband to adapt the lowest knee setting maybe an inch lower, but after three days on it I am getting better - it’s just as easy to bend a bit to zip along (really minor point, but good note for women). It’s rugged and solid - - which I need for living on a farm with a gravel driveway and uneven grass. It’s also great across bumpy and asphalt parking lots if your husband takes you to lunch! There’s a simple lever to flip to have the handle bars bend down to go into a car trunk. And, the carrying bag is a great size - fits everything for a run to Walmart, etc. I was optimistic about my getting my cast off and put a pair of sneakers in the bag (not needed because I got a walking cast). The freedom the scooter gives you really helps your mental and keeps the muscles working. Remain positive - you will get through this recovery phase!!!

I have been through a lot of foot/ankle procedures over the last 10 years and have another in the near future. My original Knee Rover (original version, not all-terrain) needed a new knee pad and new brakes so I decided to buy two new ones: one for home and one for the car so I wouldn’t have to drag the one back and forth. I bought this Vive scooter as well as a Knee Rover all terrain with honeycomb tires. Having tried all three I definitely have thoughts. The Vive scooter is by far the easiest to put together and the pneumatic tires offer the most cushioning—definitely important. I also love the soft attached bag. My original Knee Rover had the metal basket and while I loved being able to but things in it l, it definitely got in the way, especially for things like cooking. For those reasons the Vive is almost a clear winner but has two major problems. The biggest is that even the lowest knee pad setting is too high for me at 5’6”, which is not short for a woman. It will not be a big deal with some thick-soled running shoes but it’s definitely a no-go to use barefoot or with slippers—which is what I wear in the house. The handlebar needs to be able to be adjusted just a tad lower as well. So with those drawbacks, it was an easy choice to designate this Vive scooter as the car scooter and use the new Knee Rover in the house. It also helps that the Vive is a tiny bit lighter as well and will be easier to take in and out of the SUV. It’s super stable and easy to navigate. I also love that it has the two locks for the brakes as compared to the Knee Rover’s one—making it a lot safer to navigate on and off of. So, bottom line is that it’s great—if you are a tallish person. Update: this knee scooter is the worst!!! Tired to use it to actually go some distance rather than the 10-20 foot increments I had been using it for. The high knee placement made it virtually impossible to use. I was panting, in pain and having to stop every 3 minutes. Do not buy

The product is ok. But it has one very big issue! The mechanism to raise and lower the handle is very hard to use . Plug after not to long the whole mechanism screws, washer, spring , nut and all flew out of the scooter. I had no way to put down the handle I was stranded at my drs. My mom had to figure out how to get her seat down let alone trying to get it in her suv was very hard. I had this same problem with another scooter I had it’s the same mechanism to put down the handle as my old one and the same thing happened except it flung out all the parts from the vibration of her SUV while she was taking my some where. Now I don’t have any idea what to do because I have places I have to go and no knee scooter to help me out. I got this one because it’s all terrain. I paid more too. So now I’m stuck.

I'm 6'6" 300lbs and was shopping for a unit that could handle the load. Simple to assemble. Easy to maneuver but more importantly, it's solid and stable. Also easy to break down for transport. Well worth the money.
