Computer works like new
Laptop wouldn't hold a charge and it was just getting worse. Bought this little guy and WHAMO BLAMO! works like new. Charge last several hours of gameplay and so easy to install that I was able to do it. Me! I've never opened up a laptop before but either I'm blessed with super computer powers or this was just really easy. I think it took 5 minutes but it could have been less (I'm really good). Anywho, I'm going to meander on down the road now. Ciao

Bulging Battery
This battery is 15 months old and bulging not sure why batteries that only charge when needed get this way. Probably best buying manufacturer originally made battery

Lasted less than 3 years.
Purchased Nov, 2021. Unsure how long these are supposed to last, but only made it through July, 2024. That's just about 2.5 years. I usually, keep it on AC power, and occasionally allowed to drain before recharging.

Puffed up in 8 months
Poor quality, battery puffed up after a few months of use. Since new battery life what extremely short not even close to the capacity stated in the specifications.

Near fits a GL502VS but doesn't
If you came from the ifixit page it's got the wrong battery All the screw holes and tabs align but it's too big They made the battery bigger and flatter so it goes over the motherboard a tad just enough to collide with the ribbon cables Also the restraining tab on the cover collides So It doesn't fit You want a C41N1531 battery for a GL502 series Also it broke in shipping
